Monza achieved a prestigious victory defeating Italy’s Champions at the U-Power Stadium.  Napoli suffered the fourth defeat in the league returning to lose more than a month after the home defeat against Milan for 0-4. Now Spalletti’s team can no longer be defeated if they want to reach at least 90 points. Monza got the seventh consecutive useful result and continues the run-up to eighth place, remaining level on points with Fiorentina and Torino, waiting for Bologna, which by winning against Roma would reach the group at 49.

Empoli got a late equalizer against Sampdoria “already relegated” which mean arithmetic salvation.

As presented by Opta stats via Lega Serie A.  Lazio forward Ciro Immobile scored again at home, in Serie A TIM, 243 days (612 minutes) after the last one, scored against Verona, on 11 September last.     Lazio 2 – 2 Lecce

Remi Oudin is only the third French player to score at least two goals at the Olimpico against Lazio in Serie A, after Paul Pogba (two, in November 2014) and Thierry Henry (two, in April 1999), both with Juventus.

Salernitana has remained unbeaten in the last six home league games (W3, D3) for the first time since the period between February and May 1999 (six in that case too).

For the first time under the management of Gian Piero Gasperini, Atalanta have conceded goals in 10 consecutive matches in a single Serie A TIM tournament.

Przemyslaw Wiśniewski’s is the first goal scored by a Spezia defender in this championship: Petko Hristov scored the last in the competition more than a year ago (April 30, 2022 vs Lazio).

Milan finished two games in a row without scoring in all competitions for the first time since last January – even then the first of the two meetings was a derby loss against Inter (0-3 in EA SPORTS Supercup, then 0- 4 in Serie A TIM vs Lazio).

Against no team, Romelu Lukaku has scored more multiple goals than against Sassuolo in Serie A TIM (two braces like against Benevento and Genoa).

Inter have won their last seven games counting all competitions. The last time the Nerazzurri achieved multiple wins in a row in a single season was between February and April 2021 (nine in that case).

Torino have won three consecutive away games without conceding a goal in Serie A for the first time since March 1970.

Nikola Vlasic is the third Croatian midfielder to score at least five goals in his first season in Serie A TIM after Mario Pasalic (five in 2016/17) and Ivan Perisic (seven in 2015/16).

For the first time in this championship, Fiorentina have closed two games in a row at home without conceding a goal.

Udinese is the team against which Gaetano Castrovilli has been involved in the most goals in Serie A TIM (five: three goals and two assists).

Monza are the first newly promoted side to score 49 points after 35 Serie A matches since Verona in 2013/14 (52 points).

All four of Napoli’s defeats in this Serie A TIM season have come in 2023, and in all four they have failed to score.

Roma’s starting lineup with an average age of 25 years and 34 days is the youngest starting XI fielded by José Mourinho in his Serie A career.

Bologna have drawn three home games in a row in Serie A TIM for the first time since March 2016, in that case with Roberto Donadoni in charge.

Juventus (21) is the team that has scored the most goals with players born after 2000 in this Serie A TIM season.

Only Barcelona (25) have obtained more clean sheets than Juventus (19, like Lazio) in the top five European tournaments 22/23.

Sampdoria is the team that has conceded the most goals in added time (eight).

Roberto Piccoli has scored five of his seven Serie A goals coming into the current game, including all three most recently.

Sampdoria, 20th position with 17 points and a negative goal difference of -41

Sampdoria and Empoli ended the Serie A Week 35 game with a draw on Monday 15 May 2023 at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium in Genoa, Italy. In the first 45′ the teams line up on the pitch with a study attitude, at least until the 34th minute, when Zanoli converted Quagliarella’s delicious cross, signing the Dorian goal. In the second half, Empoli got a late equalizer which mean arithmetic salvation.  Piccoli arrives punctually on the discharge of the number 24, who opens the right plate by sending the ball over the goal line.

Men of Stankovic and Zanetti who will be engaged in the 36th matchday respectively away, guests of Pioli’s Milan, and at home against Max Allegri’s Juventus.

Sampdoria come from a 2-0 knockout in Udine, which condemned them in advance to the arithmetic relegation already from last day.   Sampdoria were relegated from Serie A for the fifth time in their history: after 1965/66, 1976/77, 1998/99 and 2010/11.  The party is for Empoli celebrating their salvation to remain in Serie A next season.

✅   Stats before the game: Today’s challenge involves Doria and Empoli in their 15th meeting in their history in the top Italian tournament, with a historian who leans considerably in favor of the Ligurians: 9 triumphs for the Blucerchiati, 3 for the Azzurri and only 3 draws to close the balance . None of the last five Serie A matches between Sampdoria and Empoli ended in a draw, with three wins for the Ligurians against two for the Tuscans – including the 1-0 in the first leg: the Azzurri could in fact win both matches season against blucerchiati in the top division for the first time since 2006/07. Sampdoria have won nine of their 13 previous home games against Empoli in Serie A (D2 L2), however only one of these has come in their last four meetings at the Ferraris: 2-0 on 19 February 2022, thanks to a brace from Fabio Quagliarella. Empoli have not scored in 15 of the 27 Serie A matches against Sampdoria, i.e. in 56% of the previous ones: only against Juventus (63%: 17 out of 27) do they have a higher percentage of games without goals in the competition.

👉 Lineup SAMPDORIA (3-4-1-2): Ravaglia; Gunter-Nuytinck-Amione; Zanoli-Winks-Rincon-Augello; Djuricic; Quagliarella-Gabbiadini.

Juventus, 2nd  position with 66 points and a positive goal difference of +24
Cremonese, 19th position with 24 points and a negative goal difference of -28

Juventus win the Serie A Week 35 game on Sunday 14 May 2023 at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, Italy. Three important points for Juventus consolidated their second place reaching 69 points. Cremonese tried, but comes out defeated. The salvation increasingly difficult for the Grigiorossi.

Juventus want to consolidate their momentary second place with a victory, grey-reds looking for points for salvation, with Spezia six points away. Juventus have never lost in Serie A against Cremonese (15G: W11, D4): among the formations against which the bianconeri are unbeaten in the competition, only against Piacenza do they have more precedents (16).

Bad news for Juventus because Paul Pogba had to be substituted in the 24th minute after injury.

Nicolò Fagioli opened the score for Juventus defeating Cremonese goalkeeper Marco Carnesecchi with a right-footed shot to the high center. The assist is by Federico Chiesa.

Juventus secured the victory in the 79th minute. Bremer scored from very close range with a headed shot following a corner conceded by Leonardo Sernicola.
