👉 Here is the list of suspensions by the Sporting Judge Gerardo Mastrandrea assisted by Stefania Ginesio and the A.I.A Representative Carlo Moretti on Tuesday 12 March 2024 after the Serie A Round 28 concluded on Monday 11 March 2024

✅  One game suspension

  • HENRY Thomas (Hellas Verona): for non-compliant behavior on the pitch (Second sanction); for having also, at the end of the match, assumed a provocative attitude towards a player from the opposing team, creating a tense situation.
  • PEREZ Patricio Nehuen (Udinese): double yellow card for incorrect behavior towards an opponent.
  • BAND Lameck (Lecce): for incorrect behavior towards an opponent; already warned (Fifth sanction).
  • BONAVENTURA Giacomo (Fiorentina): for incorrect behavior towards an opponent; already warned (Fifth sanction).
  • DOIG Josh Thomas (Sassuolo): for incorrect behavior towards an opponent; already warned (Fifth sanction).
  • FAZZINI Jacopo (Empoli): for incorrect behavior towards an opponent; already warned (Fifth sanction).
  • KASTANOS Grigoris (Salernitana): for incorrect behavior towards an opponent; already warned (Fifth sanction).

✅  Club Fines

Fine of €8,000.00 to  LECCE club for having its supporters, during the match and at the end of it, throw three firecrackers, three smoke bombs and numerous plastic bottles into the playing area; attenuated sanction pursuant to art. 29, paragraph 1 letter. b) CGS.

Fine of €2,000.00 to GENOA club for having, before the start of the match, chanted an offensive chorus towards the match officials.

Fine of €2,000.00 to SASSUOLO club for having, at the 1st of the first half, thrown a firecracker onto the pitch; attenuated sanction pursuant to art. 29, paragraph 1 letter. b) CGS.

COACHES – DISQUALIFICATION FOR FOUR ACTUAL DAYS OF COMPETITION
AND FINE OF €10,000.00

D’AVERSA Roberto (Lecce): for having, at the end of the match, on the pitch, headbutted a player from the opposing team; infringement detected by an Assistant.

✅  Club Fines

Milan – Fine of €15 thousand euros: for throwing two smoke bombs in the sector occupied by the opposing team’s supporters, causing the referee to interrupt the match for more than a minute; for having also, during the match, thrown a smoke bomb into the playing area; finally, in the 31st minute of the first half, he sang a rude chorus towards the supporters of the opposing team

Napoli – Fine of €12 thousand euros: for having thrown five smoke bombs and some plastic bottles in the sector occupied by the opposing team’s supporters, causing the referee to interrupt the match for more than a minute with the smoke bombs; for having also, during the match, thrown a smoke bomb and two plastic bottles into the playing area.

Inter – Fine of €5 thousand euros): for having chanted insulting chants towards a player from the opposing team.

AS Roma – Fine of €3 thousand euros: by way of strict liability, for having unjustifiably delayed the start of the second half by approximately three minutes.

Torino Coach Ivan Juric: Punished with a one-match ban for abandoning the technical area and adopting behaviors that created tension with the members of the Lecce bench.

AC Milan Technical Coach Luciano Vulcano: with a two-match ban

Juventus technical collaborator: Maurizio Trombetta  with a two-match ban

👉 Here is the list of suspensions by the Sporting Judge Gerardo Mastrandrea assisted by Stefania Ginesio and the A.I.A Representative Carlo Moretti on Monday 25 September 2023 after the Serie A Round 5 concluded on Sunday 24 September 2023.

One game suspension

  • Aaron Martin (Genoa)
Club Fines

Fine of €5,000 euro fines against Empoli, Fiorentina, Hellas Verona, Lazio and Udinese. The reason lies in not having respected, some or all of its supporters, the minute of silence ordered by the FIGC to commemorate the passing of the former President of the Republic Giorgio Napolitano.

Added to these sanctions are also those relating to the throwing of smoke bombs, for which Lecce was punished with a fine of €4,000 euros. Milan and Salernitana, however, will have to pay a fine of €1,500 euros for the throwing of bottles into the pitch by some supporters.
