AS Roma with a sprint race ended the Serie A Week 36 game against Salernitana with a draw on Monday 22 May 2023 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium in Rome, Italy. Salernitana took the lead again in the 54th minute. Boulaye Dia scored from very close range with a left footed shot to the center. The assist is by Krzysztof Piatek.

Roma equalized again in the 84th minute. Nemanja Matić scored with a right footed shot to the center following a corner conceded by Tonny Vilhena.

Stats before the game: Salernitana, at 38 points, is already arguably safe. Sousa’s team celebrated this round following the knockout of Verona. With a victory he could overcome Empoli and move into 14th position.
