Napoli not only won the Scudetto with 90 points but also have the top scorer of the Serie A forward Victor Osimhen with 26 goals.  Osimhen is the fourth player in the entire history of Napoli scoring at least 25 goals in a Serie A season, after Edinson Cavani (26 in 2010/11 and 29 in 2012/13), Gonzalo Higuaín (36 in 2015/16) and Dries Mertens (28 in 2016/17).

Lazio got their second place with 74 points which is the best result of the Lotito era.  Lazio defeated Empoli thanks to the goals by Alessio Romagnoli and Luis Alberto. The merit of Sarri, of the whole team, of the staff. Lazio fans must be happy with the team qualifying to the Champions League two years after the last time (2020/2021 edition).  Lazio have kept clean sheets in 21 matches this season; only two teams have recorded more clean sheets in a single season in Serie A history: Juventus (3 times – 2013/14, 2015/16 and 2017/18) and AC Milan (1993/94) – all with 22 points.

Inter finished the season in the 3rd position with 72 points and also winning the Coppa Italia.  Inter had a great season playing the UEFA Champions League Final against Manchester City on Saturday 10 Jun 2023 at the Ataturk Olympic Stadium in Istanbul, Turkey.   Inter win their seventh game in their last eight games in the league. Lautaro Martínez is one of four players capable of scoring more than 20 goals in each of the last two seasons in Europe’s big five leagues, alongside Erling Haaland, Robert Lewandowski and Kylian Mbappé.

AC Milan finished in the 4th position with 70 points qualifying for the UEFA Champions League next season.  Forward Rafael Leão set his record for active appearances in a single Serie A TIM championship: 23 (15 goals, 8 assists). This Serie A TIM season Leão is the AC Milan player who has played the most matches (35), scored the most goals (15), provided the most assists (8), made the most total shots (92) and completed the most dribbles (79) .

Juventus ended in the 7th position with 62 points failing to qualify for the Europa League and will play the Conference League.  Juventus will archive this as one of their worst after their -10 points penalization.

As far as individual records, Opta stas showing Bryan Cristante is the player who has made the most tackles in this Serie A TIM season: 113, at least 21 more than any other.

Boulaye Dia is the player who has scored the most goals in a single Serie A season for Salernitana: 16, an absolute record for a player with this team in the competition.

Fabio Quagliarella scored for 18th different season in Serie A only Francesco Totti (23), Silvio Piola (20) and Gianni Rivera (20) have done better, he also became the fifth 40-year-old to score in the history of the competition, after Zlatan Ibrahimovic , Alessandro Costacurta, Silvio Piola and Pietro Vierchowod.

Cremonese saluted the Serie A winning their last game against Salernitana. Daniel Ciofani is Cremonese’s top scorer (eight goals) in this championship; the last Grigiorossi player to score more goals in a single Serie A season was Andrea Tentoni (nine, in 1995/96).

Atalanta are the team that has scored the most goals from outside the box this season (13) – in the last 15 Serie A seasons, the Nerazzurri have only done better in 2019/20 (20).

Stefan Posch is the first defender to score more than five goals in a single Serie A season for Bologna since Salvatore Fresi (eight in 2001/02).

Empoli finished a Serie A TIM season with at least 43 points for the first time since 2015/16 (46 on that occasion).

Fiorentina finished the second consecutive Serie A TIM season as the team that has conceded the fewest shots (346 in 2022/23), after never having previously done so since Opta collects this data (since 2004/05). Sassuolo greeted the championship with a defeat, instead, Fiorentina wins and now heads straight for Prague where they are expected to play the Conference League final against West Ham on Wednesday.   Sassuolo ended up with nine players due to the expulsions of Ruan (double yellow) and Rogerio.

Adrien Rabiot has scored eight goals in this league, the last Juventus midfielder to score more goals in a Serie A TIM season was Sami Khedira in 2017/18 (nine).

Lorenzo Colombo has scored five goals in this league, reaching the milestone aged 21 years and 81 days; only three Lecce players have scored their fifth Serie A goal of the season younger: Bojinov (18 years, 255 days), Muriel (20 years, 323 days) and Vucinic (21 years, 37 days).

Monza have earned 52 points this season; among the teams that made their debut in Serie A in the era of three points for a win (from 1994/95) only Chievo in 2001/02 (54) did better in their first-ever season in the tournament.
