The Lega Serie A has announced the postponement of the Serie A Week 1 games  AC Milan vs Genoa and Sampdoria vs Fiorentina scheduled on Sunday 19 August 2018 at 20:30.

The games were postponed as a result of the tragedy that hit the City of Genoa.  The recovery dates will be announced in the next few days.

The Lega Serie A also informing that a minute of silence will be observed before the games in all of the Serie A TIM Week 1 games in memory of the victims of Genoa on Saturday 18, Sunday 19, and Monday 20 August 2018.  The  teams will wear a mourning band on the arm.

AC Milan official website informing the training schedule ahead of the Italian Serie A Week 1 game AC Milan vs Genoa scheduled for Sunday 19 August 2018 at the San Siro Stadium.  AC Milan had two days off (Sunday and Monday), and resuming training on Tuesday 14 August 2018 at the Milanello Sports Center.

  • Wednesday 15 August, double training session at 10.30 AM and later on at 5.30 PM.

  • Saturday 18 August, last training scheduled for 6.00 PM after coach Gennaro Gattuso’s pre-match press conference.
