✅  Stats before the game: Milan have won their last three matches against Sampdoria in the league, the Rossoneri haven’t achieved more consecutive wins against the Blucerchiati in Serie A since the period between 1999 and 2005 (five in that case).  AC Milan have not won any of their last three matches against teams that occupied the bottom three positions of the Serie A table at the start of the day (D2, L1), after instead having achieved eight wins in the previous nine matches of this type (D1). After a three-game winning streak last February, Milan have won just three of their next 11 Serie A matches (D5 L3); from the beginning of March, in fact, the Rossoneri would occupy 12th position in the championship standings (14 points, equal to Salernitana). Sampdoria have obtained 18 points so far in this championship and for the first time in their history they will end a Serie A season with less than 28 points (considering always three points for a win). Sampdoria are the team that has earned the least away points this season in Serie A (nine in 17 matches); moreover, no team has conceded more goals than the Blucerchiati away from home (36, equal to Sassuolo).
