Hello, friends! Here are the results for Week 3 of the 2026-27 Serie A. Round 3 kicked off on Friday, September 4, continued on Saturday, September 5, and wrapped up on Sunday, September 6, with a final match on Monday, September 7, 2026. This round is quite exciting, featuring two major matchups:.  Inter defeated Napoli and Juventus vs Milan ended with a draw. Wow!   Currently, there are only 3 teams with a perfect record of 9 points after Round 3:  Roma, Inter, and Lazio.

The highly anticipated match between Inter and Napoli turned out to be an impressive display of skill. Inter triumphed with a score of 3-2 at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium. The winning goal coming from Argentine forward Lautaro Martínez in stoppage time. Inter, the reigning champions of Italy, are determined to send a clear and strong message. It wasn’t an easy victory. All the action unfolded in the second half. Imagine this: the Nerazzurri clinched the win after falling behind by two goals. Matteo Politano scored at the 50th minute, followed by Rasmus Højlund at the 53rd, giving Napoli a false sense of security, especially after they had vocally protested for a penalty due to a suspected handball by Lobotka before going ahead. Lautaro Martinez turned the tide with a brace (56′ and 91′), sandwiched by a goal from Marcus Thuram that leveled the score at 82 minutes.

Como triumphed over Genoa at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium. They secured a 4-1 away victory, soaring to the top of the standings for one night. Como now has seven points in the league.  Meanwhile, Genoa remains at zero, living a nightmare. It was a mirage, as the team led by Daniele De Rossi took the lead with Milutin Osmajic. However, the response from Cesc Fabregas’s squad was immediate, with goals from Martin Baturina, Assane Diao, and Nico Paz. In the second half, Diao scored his second goal, capitalizing on an assist from Kean, who was making his debut in the new jersey. Ricci also made his debut. Surely, Como’s morale gets a significant boost ahead of their Champions League debut against RB Leipzig on Thursday, September 10, at the Giuseppe Sinigaglia stadium.

Roma triumphs over Atalanta at the Stadio Olimpico. Truly, this is a Roma team that never gives up, managing to overturn Atalanta’s lead just four minutes before the final whistle. The Trigoria squad is currently at the top of the league table with a perfect score with 9 points, having won all three of their matches, alongside Inter, who also secured a victory against Napoli today. After Ederson goal at the start of the second half, Hermoso equalized in the 89th minute, followed by Soulé’s goal in the 93rd minute. Roma remains unbeaten in the standings! This match was particularly special for the giallorosso coach, who staged a comeback against his former team, now managed by the ex-coach of Lazio.

Torino triumphed over Fiorentina with a score of 2-1  at the Artemio Franchi Stadium. The match concluded with goals from Rolando Mandragora and Ché Adams, overturning Matteo Pellegrino’s initial lead. Unsurprisingly, the fans expressed their disappointment with boos. It was a cold shower at the Franchi!  With this victory, Torino secured their first three points of the season. This win is a breath of fresh air for the granata, especially for Abate, who was already under scrutiny. On the other hand, Fiorentina remains at the bottom of the table with 0 points. Fabio Grosso’s tenure as coach of the Viola couldn’t have started worse.

The much-awaited match between Juventus and AC Milan concluded in a 1-1 draw at the Allianz Stadium.  Both teams had started the season perfectly. However, they failed to keep their winning streak alive. In the end, they each earned a point, bringing their totals to 7 points.  Alphadjo Cissè put AC Milan ahead in the 68th minute, thanks to an assist from Samuel Chukwueze. The Rossoneri nearly secured an away victory, quieting the Allianz Stadium. But a dramatic turn of events unfolded at the end of the match.  Juventus fought hard until the final whistle. And just like that, in the 92nd minute, Gatti saved Juventus with an assist from Teun Koopmeiners.

Cagliari triumphed in the Serie A Week 3 match against Lecce at the Unipol Domus. Daniel Maldini netted his first goal for Cagliari Calcio in the 29th minute, leading to a 1-0 win. With this victory, Cagliari accumulated 6 points, placing them in 9th position, while Lecce found themselves in 14th place with just 3 points.  Maldini celebrated his goal by holding up the jersey of his teammate Kevin Carlos, showing solidarity after Carlos experienced the loss of his mother.

Udinese faced a defeat at the Bluenergy Stadium in front of their supporters. Lazio staged a comeback to triumph over Udinese. The biancocelesti secured a 2-1 victory, maintaining a perfect score of 9 points, and soaring to the top alongside Roma and Inter. After victories against Bologna and Genoa, Lazio achieved their third consecutive win at the start of the season. In front of 2,500 fans who traveled from Rome, Gennaro Gattuso’s team made their mark in Friuli. Davide Frattesi was once again crucial, equalizing after Jesper Karlstrom’s goal. Gattuso then brought in the latest addition, Albert Gudmundsson, who made an immediate impact by scoring the decisive goal for the win.
