    Udinese – Como

Serie A tickets

🇮🇹     A thrilling challenge awaits as Udinese and Como gear up to compete at the Bluenergy Stadium on Saturday, August 22, 2026, at 18:30. This match marks their 23rd encounter in Serie A, with Udinese having a record of 10 wins, 6 losses, and 6 draws from their previous meetings.

Udinese boasts an impressive home record in Serie A, having not lost at home since February 1968 (when they were in Serie C). Interestingly, Como’s last goal in Udine was scored back in April 2003. The last home match against Como, which took place on Easter Monday, ended in a 0-0 stalemate.

This season marks Udinese’s 32nd consecutive year in Serie A, a feat they share only with Inter, Roma, Milan, and Lazio, who have longer uninterrupted tenures in the top division. Udinese aims to secure a victory in their opening match for the first time since the 2019/20 season.

Last season, under Runjaic’s leadership, Udinese achieved their first 50-point tally since the 2012/13 season. Meanwhile, Fabregas led Como to an impressive 19 clean sheets across their 38 league matches, a record unmatched by any other team in Europe’s top five leagues.

One of Como’s key players is Argentine forward Nico Paz, who represented Argentina in the 2026 FIFA World Cup. Last season, he was notable for taking the most shots (46) and completing the highest number of dribbles (138).

Mergim Vojvoda will be up against his former team, having joined Udinese this summer after spending 18 months with Como.

Fact: Udinese vs Como Coaches

Udinese’s Coach Kosta Runjaic and Monza’s Coach Cesc Fabregas are the only two Serie A coaches who have led their teams since the beginning of the 2024/25 season. They are set to compete for the fifth time, with Runjaic holding a record of one win, one draw, and two losses.

Probable Lineups Udinese vs Como

UDINESE (3-4-2-1): Okoye; Bertola, Palma, Solet; Vojvoda, Karlström, Piotrowski, Kamara; Zaniolo, Ekkelenkamp; Buksa.

Coach: Kosta Runjaic

COMO (4-2-3-1): Butez; Smolcic, Ramón, Chalobah, Valle; Perrone, da Cunha; Diao, Paz, Baturina; Douvikas.

Coach: Cesc Fabregas
