An emotional final match for Lazio Coach Maurizio Sarri concluded their season with a win against Pisa on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium in Rome, Italy. Lazio came from behind to triumph over relegated Pisa with a score of 2-1. Goals from Dele-Bashiru and Pedro were crucial, overturning Moreo's early goal.  Lazio finishes the season in 9th place with 54 points and did not qualify for any European competitions for the upcoming season.  Pisa finished in last place with only 18 points and will be relegated to Serie B next season.

The action unfolded in the first half, with the Biancocelesti ending the Serie A season with 54 points, while the Nerazzurri faced their ninth straight defeat. It was a farewell match for both Sarri and Pedro, as Lazio fans gave the Spanish striker a standing ovation after he scored just before halftime.

Pisa took the lead in the 22nd minute.  Stefano Moreo netted a header from the center of the box into the high center of the goal, assisted by Michel Aebischer's cross following a quick break. A deadly counterattack from the visitors saw Aebischer cross from the right, finding Moreo's header, who slotted the ball past Furlanetto from close range.

Lazio equalized in the 33rd minute.  Fisayo Dele-Bashiru scored with a right-footed shot from the center of the box into the bottom right corner, assisted by Reda Belahyane. Belahyane executed a brilliant play on the left, nutmegging Aebischer before passing to Dele-Bashiru at the edge of the penalty area: a quick shot and a right-footed effort placed perfectly into the corner by Lazio's number 7.

In the 35th minute, Pedro scored a magnificent goal in his final game with Lazio! It was truly a special night, and Pedro couldn't resist scoring. Lazio's number 9 celebrated his farewell goal with the fans, curling a left-footed shot past Semper into the right corner of the Pisa goalkeeper's net. The fans surely expressed their gratitude to Pedro for his commitment and for this winning goal.
