Result Roma - Fiorentina, Monday, 24 August 2026, Serie A Week 1 What a fantastic way to kick off the 2026-27 Season! Roma dominated Fiorentina on Monday, August 24, 2026, at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium in Rome, Italy.   Roma starts with the dynamic duo of Donyell Malen and Paulo Dybala! The impressive scoreline was 4-0 in their league debut. Malen netted a hat-trick, with Dybala providing 3 assists! This duo is set to be a powerful force for the Roman gladiators! The Giallorossi were always in complete control of the match, while the Viola seemed off their game, particularly in their offensive build-up. Gian Piero Gasperini's team has two superstars who influenced the match significantly. It was undoubtedly a tough loss for Fiorentina, who did not have the ideal start. The only thing left for Fiorentina is to bounce back in their next match. At the 27th minute, Malen put his team ahead after a magical play by Dybala. After a first half dominated by Roma, Fiorentina came back stronger in the second half, but just when they seemed to be improving, the Viola conceded a second goal. Ouch! Dybala found Malen on the left, and with power, he sent the ball into the net under the crossbar. Eight minutes later, the third goal arrived, again from the Dybala-Malen connection: Dybala outmaneuvered Dragusin, and the Dutchman scored from close range. In the final moments, there was even time for Niccolò Pisilli to score the 4-0 goal. Surely, a dominant Roma, always playing at high intensity levels and with well-established game ideas. Meanwhile, Fiorentina appeared lost without a clear idea.
