Result Canada 1 - 1 Bosnia and Herzegovina, FIFA World Cup Group B, Friday, 12 June 2026 Canada secured a 1-1 draw against Bosnia and Herzegovina during their FIFA World Cup Group B opener at Toronto Stadium on Friday, June 12, 2026. Jovo Lukić put Bosnia ahead with a goal in the 21st minute, but substitute Cyle Larin equalized for the hosts in the 79th minute, earning Canada a valuable point. Although starting with a draw at home isn't the perfect scenario for co-hosts Canada, this match marks a historic moment as it represents Canada's first-ever point in a men's World Cup tournament. And that's definitely something to celebrate! In total, there were 5 Serie A players selected for this match, with two representing Canada and three from Bosnia. In conclusion, both teams walked away with 1 point. Given the expanded tournament format, a victory in either of their remaining two group matches will keep both teams in a strong position to progress to the knockout stage. Canada and Bosnia and Herzegovina are set to play their next Group B matches on Thursday, June 18, 2026. Switzerland will face Bosnia and Herzegovina at Los Angeles Stadium (SoFi Stadium) in Inglewood, California, while Canada will take on Qatar at BC Place in Vancouver.     ✅   Serie A players called up for  🇨🇦   Canada National team for the World Cup 2026:
