Group A of the 2026 FIFA World Cup is scheduled to occur from June 11 to June 24, 2026. This group includes Mexico (the co-host), South Africa, Korea Republic, and Czech Republic. The top two teams, and possibly the third-placed team, will move on to the round of 32.

In the round of 32:

✅    The winner of Group A will compete against the third-placed team from Group C, Group E, Group F, Group H, or Group I.

✅   The runner-up from Group A will face off against the runner-up from Group B.

✅   The third-placed team in Group A may have the opportunity to play against the winner of Group E or Group G, provided they are one of the eight best third-placed teams from the group stage.
