Sassuolo surviving the challenge stopping the leaders after ending the Serie A Week 15 game with a draw on Wednesday 1 December 2021 at the Mapei Stadium in Sassuolo, Italy.  Napoli, despite the draw, grab an away point keeping the sole leadership with 36 points followed by AC Milan with 35 points, and Inter with 34 points.

✅  Stats before the game.  Napoli have conceded at least two goals in both matches against Sassuolo last season (five in total), as many times as in the previous 14 matches against the neroverdi in the top flight.  Sassuolo are unbeaten in two matches against Napoli in Serie A (1V, 1N) and could avoid defeat for three straight games in the top flight for the first time against Napoli.    In all the last six crossings at Mapei Stadium in Serie A, Sassuolo and Napoli have found the goal.
