Napoli become the sole leader after winning the Serie A Week 14 game crushing Lazio at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium.   In the last 10 Serie A away games, Lazio have achieved only one success (2N, 7P) and have always conceded goals: it is since January 2016 that the Biancocelesti have not reached 11 consecutive away games without a clean sheet in the league.  Napoli and AC Milan were neck to neck with 32 points each, however, Milan lost against Sassuolo in San Siro remaining with 32 points while Napoli reached 35 points.

Juventus  losing the Serie A Week 14 game against Atalanta at the Allianz Stadium.  Atalanta super inspired being above Juventus having a +7 points lead reaching 28 points.  A total flop for Juventus not only losing in Champions League against Chelsea, another KO now even more embarrassing at home against Atalanta being -7 from fourth place.  Atalanta wins in Turin against Juventus for the first time since October 1989, when they prevailed 1-0 thanks to the goal of another South American: the Argentine Claudio Paul Caniggia.  Way to go for Atalanta and Coach Gian Piero Gasperini.

AC Milan succumbing to the pressure failing to win the Serie A Week 14 game defeated by Sassuolo at the San Siro Stadium.  Despite the defeat, AC Milan remain in the 2nd position, though, next round they might lose it because Inter with 31 points is only with -1 point  below Milan. AC Milan remaining with 10 players since the 77th minute after Alessio Romagnoli got a red card.  It is a great away victory for Sassuolo conquering San Siro reaching 18 points.  Milan loses the home unbeaten run in Serie A that lasted since last April when Sassuolo conquered the Milanese ground and lost points for the first time in this championship from an advantageous position.

AS Roma surviving  the pressure earning points to climb towards the top 5 positions. Roma win the Serie A Week 14 game defeating Torino at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium with a 1-0.  Tammy Abraham became the first English striker to have scored at least four goals in a single Serie A season since Jay Bothroyd for Perugia in the 2003/04 campaign.  Roma reaching 25 points while Torino remain with 17 points.

Spezia desperately needed to win the Serie A Week 14 game against Bologna at the Alberto Picco Stadium.  Spezia risk going down into the relegation zone. Bologna reaching 21 points with a better position have only +10 lead over Spezia.

Udinese and Genoa ending the Serie A Week 14 with a goalless draw at the Dacia Arena.  A point each that makes Udinese happier than Genoa. Udinese reaching 15 points, while Genoa moves the ranking but remains in the 18th position at 10 points. Simply put, a very tactical match ending without winners or losers and where both teams have thought more to defend themselves than to seek victory.  Udinese with 1 point climbing 2 steps from the 16th to the 14th possition. Genoa close to scoring with Caleb Ekuban in the first half, Udinese hit a post with Beto in the final.  This is the first point for Genoa Coach Andriy Shevchenko.
