Fiorentina rushing to climb toward the top 5 positions  winning the Serie A Week 15 game defeating Sampdoria on Tuesday 30 November 2021 at the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence, Italy.  Sampdoria won both matches of last season against Fiorentina (2-1 in both circumstances) and have not collected at least three consecutive wins against Viola in Serie A since February 2005.  Now, Fiorentina winning two of their last seven Serie A home games against Sampdoria (2-1 in September 2019): three draws and two Sampdoria successes, in a partial in which both teams have always found the goal.

Fiorentina have both scored and conceded goals in all their last 11 Serie A matches against Sampdoria, nevertheless achieving just two wins in the partial (5N, 4P); the last time either side failed to hit the target in this match was in a 2-0 win to Viola in November 2015.  Fiorentina have won all of their last three Serie A home games, scoring more than two goals in each of these games: the last time the Viola scored at least three goals in consecutive home matches in the competition was in December 1960 ( five).
Sampdoria have found success in two of the six away games of this championship (1D, 3L), however, on both occasions against newly promoted teams (v Empoli and Salernitana).
