Here are the 2023-2024 Italian Serie A Serie A Week 2 RESULTS / Second Round on Saturday 26, Sunday 27, and Monday 28 August 2023.  There are only 4 teams with full points having 6 points each: AC Milan, Napoli, Inter, and Hellas Verona.  Three teams without points are Lazio, Empoli, and Sassuolo.

Here are some stats (by Opta) Colombian forward Duvan Zapata scored 5 goals in 3 appearances against Frosinone in Serie A, averaging one goal every 39 minutes.

Abdoul Harroui is only the second Frosinone player capable of scoring in back-to-back Serie A home games after Federico Dionisi in September-October 2015.

Empoli have lost both of their first two Serie A games of the season for the first time since 2016/17.

Alfred Duncan’s goal is Fiorentina’s 4,000th goal in Serie A (if we also consider the two from the Tuscans’ table win against Napoli on 22 May 1977).

Hamza Rafia is the second Tunisian player to score a goal in Serie A after Yohan Benalouane (two goals in six seasons in the top flight between 2010 and 2015).
