In the next round of the championship, Napoli will have an away match against Genoa, while Lazio will have an away match against Juventus.
Naples and Lazio have not drawn in Serie A since the 1-1 draw on 5 November 2016 (Sarri coached the Azzurri): since then, in 13 matches, 10 victories for the Campania team and three for the Biancocelesti, including the last one played in March 2023 (the biancocelesti have not beaten Napoli twice in a row in the top tournament since 1997).
Lazio shock Serie A champions Napoli and get their first win of the season, 2-1 over Gli Azzurri. 👀

✅ Stats before the game: Lazio won in the last Serie A away match played in Naples (3 March 2023, 0-1 with goals from Vecino), interrupting a series of five consecutive home wins by the Azzurri: the Roman team does not get two clean sheets in a row land in Campania since 2009 and hasn’t won two consecutive matches at Napoli since 1937. In two of the last three seasons, Napoli have started the championship by winning in all three of the first days: the exception is just the last tournament, where after the two initial victories they obtained a 0-0 draw at Fiorentina. Lazio were defeated in both of the first two league days and have never lost all of their first three games in a Serie A tournament in their history. Lazio have lost nine of their last 10 Serie A away games against title holders, including all of their last five in chronological order: the only success in the period was a 2-1 away to Juventus on 14 October 2017 with two goals from Cyrus Immobile.
👉 Lineup NAPOLI (4-3-3): Meret – Di Lorenzo, Rrahmani, Juan Jesus, Olivera – Anguissa, Lobotka, Zielinski – Politano, Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia.
👉 Lineup LAZIO (4-3-3): Provedel – Marusic, Casale, Romagnoli, Hysaj – Kamada, Cataldi, Luis Alberto – Felipe Anderson, Immobile, Zaccagni.
