AS Roma with a sour defeat losing the Serie A Week 3 game on Friday 1 September 2023 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium in Rome, Italy. Roma have only 1 point while AC Milan have full 9 points in the 1st position. Milan win each of the first three games of the season for the third time in the last four Serie A championships, the same number of times in the previous 29.

At the beginning of the second half, Leao’s masterpiece who scored the 2-0 in a half bicycle kick, but the match changed when Tomori was sent off at game time. Roma takes courage and pushes forward, Leonardo Spinazzola shortens in full recovery but the final assault does not lead to a draw. Overall, a deserved victory for Pioli’s team which is momentarily the only team with full points; one point in three games for Roma, an uphill start for Mourinho.

Referee Antonio Rapuano gave a penalty to AC Milan after consulting the VAR conceded by goalkeeper Rui Patricio after a foul on Ruben Loftus-Cheek.  In the 9th minute, it is French forward Olivier Giroud to convert the penalty with a left-footed shot to the top left corner.
