👉    Hello, my friends. Here are the 2023-2024 Italian Serie A Week 34 RESULTS / Thirty-fourth Round on Friday 26, Saturday 27, Sunday 28, and Monday 29 April 2024.

Inter won the 2023-2024 Italy’s Champions winning the Scudetto last week after defeating AC Milan in the Milan Derby.   Inter’s 20th Italian league title and earn the Nerazzurri a second star on their shirts.  Inter won the Serie A Week 34 game against Torino thanks to a brace by Hakan Çalhanoglu reaching 89 points. The Nerazzurri, fresh winners of the Scudetto in the Milan derby won last Monday, face the Granata, capable of picking up just two points in the last four championship matches. The Nerazzurri celebrate the Scudetto by continuing their triumphal march in search of records.

Salernitana is the first team relegated to the Serie B is Salernitana after losing the game with Frosinone.  Mathematically speaking, Salernitana with only 15 points are in the last position with only 4 more games to end the season. The good news is for Frosinone because this victory helped them to leave the relegation zone.

Lazio defeat Hellas Verona and for the moment climbed to the 6th position. It is a special victory for Lazio Coach Igor Tudor because he celebrates reaching 100 points in Serie A.

👉  Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
Lecce, 13th position with 35 points and a negative goal difference of -18
Monza, 11th position with 43 points and a negative goal difference of -8

Lecce and Monza ended the Serie A Week 34 with a draw at the Via del Mare Stadium on Saturday 27 April 2024 in Lece, Italy. The goals arrived in the last minutes for both teams. Krstovic with a right foot in full recovery, Pessina equalizes from a penalty at the end. A point each which is good for both teams from a safety perspective.

Monza takes the field already safe. The first contract renewals have already arrived and we can start thinking about next season.

The next games will be Monza-Lazio and Cagliari-Lecce.

Lecce opened the score in the 92nd minute. Nikola Krstovic defeated Monza goalkeeper with a right-footed shot to the top right corner. The assist is by Santiago Pierotti.

Monza equalized in the 94th minute. Matteo Pessina converted a penalty for @ACMonzaENconverts with a left-footed shot to the bottom left corner. The penalty was conceded by Lorenzo Venuti after a handball

✅ Stats before the game: Lecce is unbeaten in three matches against Monza in Serie A (W1, D2), among the opponents against whom they have never lost in the top division, only against Venezia (four) have they played more matches. After the 1-1 draw in the first leg last September 17, Lecce and Monza could draw both seasonal matches between Serie A and Serie B for the first time since 1992/93 (in the cadet championship in that case). Lecce remained unbeaten in 11 of the 13 home games against Monza between Serie A and Serie B (4W, 7N), the last success of the Brianza away against the Salento dates back to 6 December 1998 (1-0 in the cadet championship with goal by Massimo Oddo). Lecce have won their last two league matches without conceding a goal, the Salento team could achieve three successes in a row in Serie A for the first time since the period between November 2022 and January 2023; while the last time they achieved three consecutive clean sheets in the tournament dates back to the period between February and March 2004 – however, never in their history in Serie A have they recorded three victories in a row without conceding a goal. Since Luca Gotti’s arrival at Lecce (last March 13th) only Lazio (12), Inter and Bologna (11 each) have collected more points than Lecce in Serie A (10 in five matches). Luca Gotti could, in fact, become the first coach to win four of the first six matches in charge of Lecce in the history of Serie A.

👉    Hello, my friends. Here are the 2023-2024 Italian Serie A Week 33 RESULTS / Thirty-third Round on Friday 19, Saturday 20, Sunday 21, and Monday 22 April 2024.

Inter are the 2023-2024 Italy’s Champions winning the Scudetto after defeating AC Milan in the Milan Derby reaching 86 points.   Inter’s 20th Italian league title and earn the Nerazzurri a second star on their shirts. A star is awarded for every 10 Serie A titles.  Only Juventus, which has a record 36 titles has three stars.  Inter beat AC Milan 2-1.  Goals on either side of half-time by Francesco Acerbi and Marcus Thuram set Inter on their way.   An honor goal for AC Milan by ikayo Tomori in the 80th minute.  Inter have a +17 points lead more than their immediate pursuer, AC Milan in the second position.

👉 Italian Serie A Tickets for the next 10 games

Juventus lack of away victories continues, despite the comeback suffered, it is still an important point for Cagliari in terms of salvation. Juventus ended 2-2 against Cagliari. Here is the situation. If Bologna beat Roma, Bologna will reach 62 points being just -2 points below Juventus. In few words, Juventus are risking to lose the third position next week.

Crisis for Napoli. Three very precious points for Empoli who reach 31, momentarily surpassing Udinese and Hellas Verona, who will soon be playing against each other. Napoli probably says goodbye to the Champions League race and remains stuck at 49 points, Roma, now in fifth place, is -5 but with two games less.

Second consecutive victory for Lazio, which is repeated after the success against Salernitana and overtakes Atalanta into sixth place in the standings, moving within three points of fifth-placed Roma, even though both the Bergamo players and the Giallorossi have played two games less than biancocelesti. Genoa, however, returned to lose after four games, failing to move closer to the left column of the table, but remains, at least momentarily, +12 above the relegation zone.

Atalanta conquered the U-Power Stadium defeating Monza to claim the Lombard Derby thanks to a goal in each half from Charles De Keteleare and El Bilal, but suffered at the end. The late reaction from Monza with an honor goal scored by Daniel Maldini

Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
Atalanta, 7th position with 51 points and a positive goal difference of +21
Monza, 11th position with 43 points and a negative goal difference of -7

Atalanta with a sprint race won the Serie A Week 33 game on Sunday 21 April 2024 at the U-Power Stadium in Monza, Italy.  Atalanta won the Lombard derby thanks to a goal in each half from Charles De Keteleare and El Bilal, but suffered at the end. The late reaction from Monza with an honor goal scored by Daniel Maldini on top who shortened at the end and hit the inside post at the last gasp.

On the thirty-fourth matchday, Palladino’s team will visit Lecce while Gasperini’s boys – after the Coppa Italia semi-final against Fiorentina – will host Empoli. The Lombard derby between the Brianza team, capable of picking up just one point in the last three championship matches, and the Bergamo team, four points away from the Champions League zone.

Atalanta opened the score in the 44th minute. Charles De Ketelaere defeated Monza goalkeeper from very close range with a headed shot to the top left corner. The assist is by Ademola Lookman following a corner conceded by Roberto Gagliardini.

Monza scored an honor goal in the 88th minute. Daniel Maldini defeated Atalanta goalkeeper with a right footed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Warren Bondo.

✅  Stats before the game Atalanta is the only team to have recorded 100% victories against Monza in Serie A: three successes out of three matches so far, with an overall score of 10-2. Between Serie A and Serie B, Monza has won only one of the last 10 matches against Atalanta (2N, 7L): 1-0 in a home match on 31 October 1999. After losing five games in a row against Lombard opponents in Serie A, Monza won the most recent one against Milan on 18 February (4-2 at the U-Power Stadium); the Brianza team have never achieved two successes in a row against teams from Lombardy in the tournament. Monza has gained just one point in the last three championship matches, only once in this Serie A season have the Brianza recorded four consecutive matches without a win: last September (the first match of that streak was against Atalanta). After five successes in a row in the league, Atalanta have won only one of their last seven Serie A matches: 3-0 against Napoli on 30 March (D3, L3), conceding 13 goals in the period (1.9 on average per match) .
