Atalanta goalkeeper Marco Sportiello has tested positive for Coronavirus COVID-19 on April 22, 2020. Sportiello undergoing for the third time to a swab test. The first time was on March 20 (reported 4 days later on March 24). Sportiello will continue under quarantine in his home in Urgnano, near Bergamo. The situation in Italy is still delicate while the Serie A leaders debate on when they will resume training. On Tuesday 21 April, Serie A clubs issued a joint statement saying they were determined to complete the 2019-2020 season, if the government permits and safety of players.
