Italian Soccer Serie A supports Serie A teams in the UEFA Champions League
It’s official. The Europa League Round of 16 Second Leg games Roma vs Sevilla and Inter Milan versus Getafe have been postponed as the Coronavirus alert continues to affect the world. The games were scheduled for Thursday 12 March 2020.
UEFA confirmed in a statement that “As a result of the travelling restrictions between Spain and Italy imposed yesterday by the Spanish authorities, the following UEFA Europa League Round of 16 matches will not take place as scheduled tomorrow, 12 March 2020.”
• Sevilla FC (Spain) – AS Roma (Italy)
• FC Internazionale (Italy) – Getafe CF (Spain)
Further decisions on the two matches will be communicated in due course.
Inter also making the official announcement regarding the postponement of the game against Getafe.
As a result of the travelling restrictions between Spain and Italy imposed yesterday by the Spanish authorities, the following #UEL matches will not take place as scheduled tomorrow.
