The result of the test was positive.
AC Milan also confirms that Paolo Maldini’s son Daniel, a forward in AC Milan’s youth team also tested positive. Daniel, grandson of Cesare Maldini, had previously been training with the First Team and is the third Maldini playing for AC Milan. Daniel made his senior debut with AC Milan in a 1–1 Serie A Week 22 home draw at the San Siro Stadium against Hellas Verona on Sunday 2 February 2020. Daniel substituted in the 93rd minute forward Samuel Castillejo.
