Napoli rocking at the San Paolo Stadium winning the Serie A Week 3 game on Saturday 14 September 2019 at the San Paolo Stadium in Naples, Italy.  Napoli defeated Sampdoria with a superb performance by forward Dries Mertens scoring the two goals of the match.  Napoli reaching 6 points and a positive goal difference of +2.

Sour news is for Sampdoria remaining in the last position after losing all three games with a negative goal difference of -8.  Napoli will continue to follow the winning path in the upcoming Champions League Group Stage match against Liverpool on Tuesday 17 September at the San Paolo.

The match started with a happy note.  Napoli opened the score in the 13th minute, forward Dries Mertens defeating Sampdoria goalkeeper with a right footed shot in the bottom right corner. The assist is by Giovanni Di Lorenzo.

The second goal of the match arrives in the 67th minute.  Fernando Llorente making his debut with Napoli providing the assist to Mertens.  A nightmare for Sampdoria goalkeeper seeing Mertens as his verdugo.
