Lazio win the Serie A Week 1 defeating Bologna on Sunday 14 August 2022 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium in Rome, Italy. Perfect comeback of Lazio who, after the 0-1 in the first half, overturns the result thanks to De Silvestri’s own goal and Ciro Immobile’s goals. The Biancocelesti under a goal and a man, thank the gift of Soumaoro, able to take two yellow cards between the 40th and 48th, and thus capture three points that seemed unattainable. Lazio have won their season debut in the last three Serie A championship. Lazio winning for the first time four consecutive opening debuts.
In the next round, Lazio will play the away game against Torino while Bologna will play at home against Hellas Verona.
Lazio played with 10 players since the 6th minute after Referee Luca Massimi gave a red card to Luís Maximiano for a handball. Bologna also got a red card in the 45th minute after Adama Soumaoro got his second yellow card.
Bologna opened the score in the 38th minute. Marko Arnautovic converts a penalty with a right footed shot to the top right corner. The penalty is conceded by Mattia Zaccagni after a foul on Nicola Sansone.
