Hello, my friends. Here are the 2021-2022 Italian Serie A Week 11 RESULTS / Eleventh Round on Saturday 30, Friday 31 October and Monday 1 November 2021.

Ivan Provedel was the goalkeeper making the most saves in the last round of the championship: 9 for the goalkeeper of Spezia, followed by Samir Handanovic of Inter, Ciprian Tatarusanu of Milan and Guglielmo Vicario of Empoli (5 ).

Atalanta was the team that made the most dribbles (15), thanks also to Josip Ilicic, record holder of the day among singles with 7 total dribbles, followed by Gianluca Caprari of Hellas Verona (6) and the duo formed by Frank Ribery of Salernitana and Pasquale Mazzocchi of Venice (4).

After 11 games, the best attack of the league is that of Inter with 28 goals scored, followed by Milan (25) and Hellas Verona (24). The best defense is that of Napoli who have conceded 3 goals. Followed by Milan with 10 goals conceded and Turin at 11.

Napoli keep the first position after winning the Serie A Week 11 game defeating Salernitana at the Arechi Stadium.  For the second time in their history, Napoli winning 10 of their first 11 matches in a single Serie A season, after 2017/18.   Napoli reaching 31 points and a positive goal difference of +20.  Salernitana down to the 19th position with 7 points and a negative goal difference of -13. Salernitana remain in the relegation zone and their hope for salvation is still a tough mission.

AS Roma with a big flop losing the Serie A Week 11 game defeated by AC Milan at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium.   Milan become the third team in Serie A history to achieve a tally of 15 away wins in a single calendar year, after Napoli in 2017 (18) and Juventus in 2018 (15).   Milan and Napoli having 31 points each.  Milan striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic scoring his 400th goal in the domestic leagues in which he has played and 150 of these have been scored in Serie A: the first dates back to 30 October 1999.

Atalanta and Lazio remain distanced just by 1 point after the Serie A Week 11 game ended with a draw at the Gewiss Stadium.  Atalanta lost their last Serie A match against Lazio, having remained unbeaten in their previous eight matches with  Lazio(4W, 4D).   Atalanta being down twice managed to draw 2-2 and save the point thanks to the 94th minute goal by Marten de Roon.

Juventus succumbing to the pressure losing the Serie A Week 11 game against Hellas Verona at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium.  Verona making an impressive victory with the leadership of forward Giovanni Simeone scoring the 2 goals.  Juventus have not managed to win in their last four games against Verona in Serie A (2D, 2L).  Verona have won now three of their last five home games against Juventus in Serie A (1D, 1L). Hellas Verona reaching 15 points same as Juventus.

A determined Torino win the Serie A Week 11 game defeating Sampdoria at the Olimpico Torino Stadium.  Sampdoria risking the relegation zone having only 9 points.   Sampdoria have won only 3 of their last 5 Serie A matches against Torino (1D). After a 3-2 win over Genoa, Torino win two Serie A home games in a row for the first time since July 2020. Torino forward Andrea Belotti “Il Gallo” scoring his 100th goal in Serie A, precisely, in the 93rd minute! Belotti is 27 years old and 314 days: only 2 Italians players have reached this record younger than him since 1980, Alberto Gilardino and Roberto Baggio.

Inter having +13 points above Udinese after winning the Serie A Week 11 game  at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.  The victory secure Inter’s third position.   Inter winning 4 home games against Udinese in Serie A in a row with the Bianconeri since 1989 (five in that case).  The victory giving an added boost for the morale of the team ahead of the Champions League game against Sheriff on Wednesday 3 November in Moldova.

Fiorentina  win in grand style the Serie A Week 11 crushing Spezia at the Artemio Franchi Stadium.   The victory under the leadership of Dusan Vlahovic scoring a hat-trick to conquer all 3 points.  Spezia have only won one of their last 13 Serie A away games (3D, 9L): 2-1 against Venezia on the fourth day of this championship.

Cagliari with the urgent need to earn points dreaming with salvation continuing in the last position.  Bologna win the Serie A Week 11 game defeating Cagliari at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium.  Bologna has not lost at home against Cagliari since January 2010 in Serie A and since then has achieved seven wins and three draws: from the 2010/11 season onwards the Emilians have achieved as many internal successes only against Sampdoria.
