Brian Brobbey and Cody Gakpo both netted two goals, while Crysencio Summerville capped off the scoring in the 89th minute. Sweden's only goal came from Anthony Elanga as a consolation. On the other hand, Sweden was unable to capitalize on its impressive 5-1 victory over Tunisia in its opening match. The defeat against the Dutch marked its largest World Cup loss since a 7-1 setback against Brazil in 1950.  On a brighter note, the Netherlands managed to recover after a 2-2 draw with Japan on Matchday 1.

These goals lifted the team's spirits, leading to an onslaught of goals!!! Cody Gakpo shone brightly with two goals and an assist in the Netherlands' impressive 5-1 win against Sweden.  Gakpo found the net in the 47th and 54th minutes. A fantastic way to inspire the team while the supporters roared with excitement.
