Italian Serie A
   ⚪️⚫️    Udinese 2 – 2 Pisa  ⚫️🔵

Udinese and Pisa concluded with a 2-2 draw at the Bluenergy Stadium. The key point is that Udinese missed the chance to secure a second consecutive win, earning a point that elevates them to ninth place with 26 points.  On the flip side, Pisa gained a point that doesn’t significantly alter their standing. They remain at the bottom but temporarily catch up to Fiorentina and Verona (who still have to play) with 13 points.  In the next round, Pisa will host Atalanta, while the Friulian team will play the home game against Inter.

 ⚪️🔵  Como 1 – 1 Bologna 🔴🔵

Como and Bologna concluded with a draw at the Giuseppe Sinigaglia Stadium. Bologna just missed securing a win, which extended their winless streak in the league to seven matches. The team remains in 8th place in the standings with 27 points. Bologna is set to play again on Thursday, away against Hellas Verona.  Como preserved their unbeaten record at the Sinigaglia and climbed to 34 points, trailing Roma. Como will also play on Thursday in the rescheduled match of the 16th league round against AC Milan.

 🟡🔴 AS Roma 2 – 0 Sassuolo ⚫️🟢

Roma triumphed over Sassuolo with a score of 2-0 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium.  The victory was secured by goals from Manu Koné and Matìas Soulé. It was a tough loss for Sassuolo. However, they are in dire need of points, having not won in their last six matches.  The only downside of the match was the injury to Evan Ferguson, who had to be substituted in the 39th minute due to pain in his gluteus and back. He was replaced by forward Stephan El Shaarawy.

 ⚫️🔵  Atalanta 2 – 0 Torino   🐂

Atalanta triumphed at the Olimpico di Torino Stadium by overcoming Torino. This marks a third straight win for Raffaele Palladino’s Atalanta, who secured the victory with a goal in each half.  This is the second consecutive loss for Baroni’s Torino, while Atalanta climbs into the European qualification zone. Atalanta now has 31 points, placing them in 7th position, while Torino remains at 23 points.

🟡🔴  Lecce  1 – 2 Parma  🟡🔵

A fantastic win for Parma as they turn the game around. Lecce faced a defeat at home against Parma at the Via del Mare Stadium. This victory allows Parma to rise to 14th place with 21 points, which is 8 points clear of the relegation zone. Meanwhile, Lecce remains at 17 points, and with upcoming matches against Inter and Milan, the threat of slipping back into the relegation zone is becoming more pronounced.  Parma triumphed in this vital relegation clash.  It’s hard to believe this comeback was possible after the first half, where Cuesta’s team seemed completely out of the game. Lecce took the lead just 52 seconds in with a goal from Stulic, and Maleh even hit the post with a shot.

⚜️  Fiorentina 1 – 1 AC Milan  🔴⚫️

AC Milan was unable to maintain their pursuit of the Scudetto. Fiorentina halted AC Milan’s title ambitions with a draw at the Artemio Franchi Stadium.  Clearly, this represents a setback for Allegri’s Rossoneri. While Milan did extend their unbeaten streak in the league to 18 matches, they were unable to temporarily overtake Inter at the top of the standings. This marks Fiorentina’s third consecutive positive result, bringing them to 14 points, just two points shy of the safety zone.   Comuzzo put the home team ahead with a superb header in the 66th minute.   Milan equalized in the 90th minute with Nkunku’s goal.

🟡🔵 Hellas Verona 0 – 1 Lazio  ⚪️🔵

Lazio triumphed over Hellas Verona at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium. With this win, Lazio accumulated 28 points as they strive to break into the top 6 positions.   After nearly a month without a victory, Lazio finally celebrated a win again, having last secured a 1-0 victory against Parma on December 13th. This time, they achieved success away from home, defeating Zanetti’s squad thanks to an own goal by Nelsson in the 79th minute. Lazzari executed a perfect overlapping run behind Cancellieri, and his cross was deflected, slipping past Montipò, who was helpless to stop his teammate’s own goal.

⚫️🔵   Inter 2 – 2 Napoli 🔵

The highly anticipated match between Inter and Napoli concluded in a draw at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium. This was certainly not the outcome that many expected. However, Inter maintains its lead in the standings with 44 points, while Napoli sits in 3rd place with 39 points.  Napoli’s primary goal was to avoid defeat at San Siro. The game finished 2-2, featuring goals from Federico Dimarco and Hakan Calhanoglu (who scored from the penalty spot), both of which were equalized by the remarkable Scott McTominay. The Scottish player not only netted two goals.

🔴⚫️      Genoa 3 – 0 Cagliari  🔴🔵

Genoa triumphed over Cagliari at the Luigi Ferraris Stadium. With this victory, Genoa accumulated 19 points, placing them in 15th position, while Cagliari also holds 19 points but sits in 16th place. Both teams are now five points above the relegation zone.  Looking ahead, the next matchday features Cagliari facing Juventus and Parma taking on Genoa.  This was undoubtedly a strong win for Genoa, marking their return to form after more than a month without a victory. It also represents their second home win under the guidance of Daniele De Rossi.

 ⚪️⚫️  Juventus 5 – 0 Cremonese  🩶❤️

What a thrilling display of goals! Juventus dominated Cagliari at the Allianz Stadium in Turin. To put it simply, Juventus had an easy time. They achieved a resounding 5-0 victory over Cremonese. With this win, Juventus climbed to 39 points, securing third place, while Cagliari remained at 19 points in 16th place.  Undoubtedly, this was a harsh lesson for Cremonese and a significant boost for Juventus.  Goals scored by Bremer, Jonathan David, Kenan Yildiz, Filippo Terracciano (og), and Weston McKennie.

  ⚫️🔵   Pisa 0 – 3 Como   🔵

Pisa faced a home loss at the Arena Garibaldi – Stadio Romeo Anconetani. This was a significant win for Como, who temporarily climbed to fourth place with 33 points, tying with Juventus and Roma, but leading on goal difference.  Pisa performed well for more than an hour, but they faltered after going behind and squandered a prime chance to get back in the game with Nzola. Gilardino’s squad remains at the bottom of the standings and will be playing away in Udine in the next round.

🟡🔴  Lecce 0 – 2 AS Roma  🟡🔴

Lecce faced a defeat against AS Roma at the Via del Mare Stadium. Roma climbed to fourth place, sharing 36 points with Juventus in the standings.  Despite being in a critical situation, Roma managed to secure an away victory against Lecce with a score of 2-0. Ferguson netted the first goal in the 14th minute, and Dovbyk added a second in the 71st minute. The Ukrainian forward came on for his Irish teammate during the game but had to exit the pitch due to a muscle injury in the 86th minute.

⚫️🟢  Sassuolo 0 – 1 Juventus    ⚪️⚫️

Juventus dominated Sassuolo at the Mapei Stadium. Juventus secured 36 points, placing them in 4th position, while Sassuolo remained at 23 points.  Luciano Spalletti made his return to the Mapei Stadium after the Italy-Moldova match, already aware that he would be stepping down from the national team bench. This time, however, he has reason to celebrate, as the impressive 3-0 win against Grosso’s Sassuolo allows him to match Roma’s victory in Lecce and join them in fourth place in the standings.

  🔴🔵  Bologna  0 – 2 Atalanta  ⚫️🔵

Bologna faced a defeat against Atalanta at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium.  Atalanta secured their fourth victory in the last five matches. This marked Bologna’s fourth loss in their last six games, highlighting a challenging time for the team. Atalanta now has 28 points, placing them in 7th position, while Bologna sits in 8th with 26 points.

🔵  Napoli 2 – 2 Hellas Verona  🟡🔵

⚪️🔵   Lazio  2 – 2 Fiorentina  ⚜️

  🟡🔵    Parma 0 – 2 Inter  ⚫️🔵

Inter triumphed in Parma, and with Napoli’s draw against Verona, they extended their lead at the top of the table to +4 over Napoli. Chivu’s squad will head into Sunday’s direct encounter knowing they can stay ahead of Napoli even if they lose. However, Parma’s streak of two consecutive positive results has come to an end, although they still hold a five-point cushion over the relegation zone.

 🐂     Torino 1 – 2 Udinese   ⚪️⚫️

🩶❤️     Cremonese 2 – 2  Cagliari   🔴🔵

Cremonese and Cagliari played to a draw at the Giovanni Zini Stadium. The home team led 2-0 at halftime, thanks to goals from Johnsen and Vardy. However, the visitors made a comeback, equalizing with Adopo shortly after the second half began and then scoring Trepy’s first Serie A goal in the 88th minute. In stoppage time, Cremonese had a fantastic chance to secure a win, as Vandeputte attempted to score by beating Caprile with the outside of his right foot, but the ball narrowly missed the target.

   🔴⚫️   AC Milan 1 – 1 Genoa  🔴⚫️

AC Milan missed the opportunity to secure a home win. Milan and Genoa concluded with a draw at the San Siro Stadium. It was an astonishing finish where everything unfolded.  Milan accumulated 39 points, holding the 2nd position, just 3 points behind Inter, who are in 1st place with 42 points. The key takeaway is that Milan has shown struggles against teams in the lower half of the standings, unlike their performances against the top teams.  Genoa took the lead with former Milan player Lorenzo Colombo.   Rafael Leão equalized in the 92nd minute.
