Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
Torino, 10th position with 40 points and a positive goal difference of “0”
Como, 13th position with 33 points and a negative goal difference of -9

Como conquered the Serie A Week 32 match on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the Giuseppe Sinigaglia Stadium in Como, Italy.  Como secured a victory with a strong performance, highlighted by Douvikas’ goal in the 38th minute of the first half. The excitement peaked in the closing moments when Ilic had a goal ruled out during stoppage time. With this win, Como has now achieved two consecutive victories, bringing their total to 36 points and solidifying their position in 13th place.

Torino, who had been unbeaten in the league since February 14th, is now facing defeat once again. On that previous occasion, Vanoli was also without Ricci. As a result, the Granata remain at 40 points, sitting in 10th place. Their upcoming match will see them take on Udinese at the Stadio Olimpico Grande Torino.

In their next match, the Lariani will travel to Lecce to play at the Via del Mare.

Como’s last victory at home against Torino in Serie A was a narrow 1-0 win on May 24, 2003, thanks to a goal from Mirko Benin. In their last three top-flight matches at the Sinigaglia against the Granata, the Lariani have achieved two clean sheets, matching the number they secured in their previous ten encounters at this venue against the Piedmontese.

Como took the advantage in the 38th minute when Tasos Douvikas found the net with a close-range header directed into the bottom left corner. Mërgim Vojvoda provided the assist. Ikone received the ball at the edge of the penalty area, patiently waited for Vojvoda to make a run on the right, and then delivered a precise pass. Vojvoda’s cross to the far post was spot on, allowing Douvikas to simply nod it in. Goalkeeper Vanja Milinkovic-Savic had no chance. GOALLLLL!

Hellas Verona and Genoa concluded the Serie A Week 32 match with a goalless draw on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium in Verona, Italy.  Verona has recorded their third straight draw, marking their second consecutive 0-0 result at home. Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
Fiorentina, 8th position with 52 points and a positive goal difference of +17
Parma, 16th position with 27 points and a negative goal difference of -14

Fiorentina failed their objective to win the Serie A Week 32 clash on Sunday, April 13, 2025, at the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence, Italy. The game between Fiorentina and Parma concludes without any goals. The Viola miss the chance to secure a victory, remaining just shy of the Champions League spots, while the Crociati make a slight move towards safety. The match lacked excitement, with a focus on defense and impressive performances from both goalkeepers. The final score is a 0-0 draw, resulting in one point for each team.

In the upcoming round, Fiorentina will take on Cagliari, while Parma will go up against Juventus.

Notably, Parma has recorded the highest number of draws against Fiorentina in their Serie A history, with 19 draws from 49 matches, while the Emilians have secured 14 victories and the Tuscans have achieved 16.

Stats before the game

Fiorentina and Parma have shown remarkable parity in their last 14 Serie A matchups, with each team securing three victories and eight matches ending in a draw. This includes their last three encounters, which all ended in ties, such as the 1-1 draw in the first leg of the current season.

The only time they had a longer streak of consecutive draws in the top division was between 1992 and 1995, when they drew five times. Parma has not lost in their last three away matches at the Franchi against Fiorentina in Serie A. They achieved one victory on December 26, 2018, followed by two draws. The Ducali have only managed to go unbeaten in four consecutive away games against the Viola once before, during their first four encounters from 1990 to 1995.

Serie A Standing BEFORE the game:
Atalanta, 3rd position with 58 points and a positive goal difference of +33
Bologna, 5th position with 57 points and a positive goal difference of +16

Atalanta won the Serie A Week 32 game on Sunday 13 April 2025 at the Gewiss Stadium in Bergamo, Italy.  A significant win! Atalanta secures three points by defeating Bologna 2-0, reclaiming third place and surpassing Juventus. Retegui and Pasalic found the back of the net. As a result, Bologna drops to fifth place, now behind Juventus.

Atalanta dominated the first half: just three minutes in, the Nerazzurri took the lead thanks to a play between Bellanova and Retegui, with the winger delivering a low cross to the near post, allowing the Italian-Argentine to score with his left foot. In the 22nd minute, Gasperini’s squad doubled their lead when Retegui won a duel with Lucumi on the right and sent a cross into the center, where Pasalic, unmarked, easily slotted it home with his left foot. The second half saw the game slow down, as the Bergamo team focused on maintaining their two-goal lead and securing the win.

Next week, the rossoblù will face Inter at home, while Atalanta will take on Milan at San Siro.

The game…

What a rapid kickoff! Atalanta is clearly showing their intent to claim victory. The first goal came in just three minutes, with Mateo Retegui scoring from close range with a left-footed shot aimed at the bottom right corner. The assist was made by Raoul Bellanova, who dashed down the right flank with the ball, unopposed. He delivered a low cross to the near post, allowing Retegui to beat Beukema to the ball and finish it into the bottom right corner.

Bologna is facing difficulties. In the 22nd minute, Atalanta extends their advantage. Mario Pašalić found the net with a left-footed shot aimed at the bottom left corner, assisted by Mateo Retegui. Retegui battled on the right side, protecting the ball from Lucumì, made his way to the byline, and delivered a cross into the middle. Pašalić was unmarked and skillfully struck the ball with his left foot, sending it past Ravaglia and into the left post.

Juventus, 5th position with 55 points and a positive goal difference of +18

Juventus won the Serie A Week 32 on Saturday, April 12, 2025, at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, Italy.  Juventus secured a 2-1 victory over Lecce, gaining three vital points in their quest for a Champions League spot. The scoring opened just two minutes into the match with Teun Koopmeiners finding the net, followed by Yildiz extending the lead in the 33rd minute, both assists coming from Dušan Vlahović. Lecce’s Baschirotto managed to pull one back with a header in the 87th minute.

In the next round of the championship, Juventus will play away to Parma, while Lecce will face Como at home.

Historically, Juventus has a strong record against Lecce, having lost only four out of their 37 encounters in Serie A, with 24 wins and 9 draws.

On the other hand, Lecce is struggling, having gone winless in their last eight Serie A matches, with three draws and five losses. Their last victory in the league was a 3-1 win against Parma last January. This marks their longest winless streak since the period from September to December 2023, when Roberto D’Aversa was managing the team, during which they went ten matches without a win.

Are you serious? What an amazing kickoff! Juventus took the lead within just two minutes! Teun Koopmeiners scored with a left-footed shot aimed at the center, assisted by Dusan Vlahovic. Vlahovic’s setup allowed Koopmeiners to unleash a shot in the area that left goalkeeper Wladimiro Falcone with no chance to react.
