Juventus finds itself in a tricky situation. Referee Perenzoni issued a red card to Yildiz just before halftime, at the 45+3 minute mark. As Yildiz exits the field, he raises his left arm in an apologetic gesture to the crowd and his right arm to his heart, acknowledging his error.

After losing their first two games against Monza in Serie A, Juventus won all three of their next games, scoring exactly two goals each time, for an aggregate score of 6-2.

AC Milan won the Serie A Week 34 match on Sunday, April 27, 2025, at the Luigi Penzo Stadium. Milan comes into this match riding high after a decisive victory in the Coppa Italia Frecciarossa derby against Inter.  Milan bounces back in the championship after their loss to Atalanta at San Siro.
