AS Roma won the Serie A Week 33 game on Saturday 19 April 2025 at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium in Rome, Italy. Roma secured a slim win against Hellas, managing the match with ease and facing minimal challenges despite allowing their opponents to control the game for extended periods. However, Hellas struggled to create significant threats near Svilar. In the second half, the most promising opportunities came from Mosquera, who nearly scored in the 52nd minute, hitting the left post, and Dovbyk, who came close to doubling the lead with a shot from within the box.
Roma got off to a strong start in the 4th minute when Eldor Shomurodov found the back of the net with a close-range right-footed shot. Matías Soulé provided the assist. Cristante made a precise throw to Soulé, who entered the box and attempted a lob to bypass Montipò’s defense. Shomurodov charged in and tapped the ball into the goal, beating Ghilardi and Coppola, who were attempting to make a block.

The first half concludes with Roma leading 1-0. The Giallorossi took an early advantage when Soulé delicately lifted the ball over Montipò, allowing Shomurodov to charge in and score. Ranieri’s squad appears satisfied, allowing Zanetti’s team to take control of the play, which results in a few threatening moments near Svilar, though they fail to test him significantly. In stoppage time, Mancini had a golden opportunity from a corner but couldn’t convert from a prime position.
