Bologna win the Serie A Week 11 game against Lecce on Sunday 23 October 2022 at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium in Bologna, Italy. It is a special home victory because Bologna claimed all 3 points.  Previously, Thiago Motta had only scored one point in four games at the helm of Bologna in the league. It all happens in the first half where Bologna unlocks the match with the penalty scored by Marko Arnautović. The doubling comes at minute 34 where, on the development of a corner kick, Ferguson hits his head and slips on the near post. Bologna finds the victory again, the first for Thiago Motta in this championship, and climbs to 13th place in the standings with 10 points.

In the next round, Bologna will face the away game against Monza on Monday, while Lecce will host Juventus on Saturday.

Referee Simone Sozza gave a penalty to Bologna conceded by Valentin Gendrey after a foul on Michel Aebischer. In the 14th minute, Forward Marko Arnautović converted the penalty defeating Lecce goalkeeper Wladimiro Falcone with a right-footed shot to the bottom left corner.

Bologna increased the score in the 35th minute for the 2-0. Lewis Ferguson scored with a headed shot to the center. The assist is by Musa Barrow following a corner conceded by Giuseppe Pezzella. This is a special goal for Ferguson because it is his first goal in Serie A.

Udinese failed to win the Serie A Week 11 game defeated by Torino on Sunday 23 October 2022 at the Dacia Arena in Udine, Italy. Torino found the victory that was missing for five rounds, Pietro Pellegri decided with the winner goal. Milinkovic-Savic saves on Deulofeu and Beto, the first internal stop for the Friulians. Udinese and Torino have not drawn in Serie A since 16 September 2018 (1-1 with goals from De Paul and Meité): in the last seven league matches, in fact, four grenade and three Friulian victories. In the last 10 Serie A matches in Friuli, a perfect balance reigns between these two teams: four wins each and two draws; Udinese – victorious in their last home match against the grenades – have not managed to win two home games against Torino in the league since 2013 (a streak of four in that circumstance). AC Milan win the Serie A Week 11 game against Monza on Saturday 22 October 2022 at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy.  The victory helps Milan reached 26 points to keep up the race for the Scudetto with Napoli. Milan beat Monza 4-1 and obtained their fourth consecutive victory. Brahim Diaz broke the deadlock in the 16th minute. The Spaniard scored twice in the 41st minute. In the second half, Origi with a great shot from the edge of the area, Ranocchia shortens the distance on a free kick in the 70th minute, Rafael Leão enters as a sub and scores with an assist from Hernandez.

In the next round of the championship for Milan, an away match on the Turin field, Monza will play at home against Bologna.

Surely, this is a romantic game, a deja vu, Milan face their iconic former owner Silvio Berlusconi and Adriano Galliani now the owner of Monza. It was since 1992/93 that Milan had not won at least seven of the first 10 Serie A games in the year following the victory of a Scudetto: in that season they repeated the title of the previous year.

AC Milan opened the score in the 18th minute. Brahim Díaz defeated Monza goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio with a left-footed shot to the bottom right corner. The Spaniard starts with a solo run from the middle of the field, advances, wedges himself in the area and against all odds while surrounded by Monza defense and Di Gregorio managed to slide and score!!

AC Milan increased the score for the 3-0 in the 65th minute. Divock Origi scored his first goal in Serie A delighting the Rossoneri fans with a right-footed shot to the top right corner. The assist is by Junior Messias.

Monza scored the honor goal in the 69th minute. A memorable goal for Filippo Ranocchia defeating AC Milan goalkeeper Ciprian Tătărușanu despite his stretch, unable to stop the right-footed free kick shot to the bottom right corner.

✅    Stats before the game. Monza will be the 11th Lombard team to face Milan in Serie A: the Rossoneri lost only against Inter Milan in 1929 in their first overall match against opponents from this region (6W, 3D).This will be Monza’s first away match in Lombardy in Serie A. In general, the Brianza players have only faced Atalanta between their Lombard opponents in the top flight so far (they lost 0-2 at the U-Power Stadium last September 5). Milan and Monza have already met in Serie B: the Rossoneri have won all four matches against Brianza in the 1980/81 cadet championship with Massimo Giacomini as coach and in 1982/83 with Ilario Castagner at the helm. Salernitana win the Serie A Week 11 game on Saturday 22 October 2022 at the Arechi Stadium in Salerno, Italy.   The highlight of the match is  Franck Ribéry emotional farewell.  Salernitana makes a leap in the standings reaching 13 points. Spezia remains at 9 points but out of the relegation zone. After more than 100 minutes, a match that sees the home team take home the victory thanks to Mazzocchi’s great goal at the beginning of the second half ends.
