Sassuolo confirmed themselves as Milan’s bete noire, once again beating San Siro after last season’s 3-1 win. This time the victory is even clearer and takes on the tone of a feat for the neroverdi. Milan collapsed in front of their fans. After the first half finished 3-1, Laurentié on penalties and Matheus Henrique rounded off the score making useless Origi’s great goal which fixed the result at 2-5. Dionisi’s team therefore finds the first victory of 2023 and certifies the crisis of Milan, jammed at 2-0 in the match against Roma and never again able to reverse the course. After the Super Cup lost against Inter, the exit from the Italian Cup against Turin and the only five points won in the league, a very black January ended in the worst possible way for Pioli’s men.
