Monza and Lazio ended the Serie A Week 35 game with a draw on Saturday 4 May 2024 at the U-Power Stadium in Monza, Italy.  Monza slows Lazio’s Champions League run, which stops after three consecutive victories and fails to overtake Atalanta. ✅   Stats before the game: After losing both of their first two matches against Lazio in Serie A without scoring, Monza drew 1-1 in the first leg of this championship against the Biancocelesti on 23 September. Between Serie A and Serie B, Monza remained unbeaten in eight of the nine home games against Lazio (W4, D4), however the defeat came in their only previous match in the top division: 0-2, on 2 April 2023. With the draw in the last match against Lecce, Monza recorded a streak of five games in a row without a win in Serie A for the first time with Raffaele Palladino as coach (2D, 3P); more generally, only once have the Brianza team gone on a longer streak without success in the top championship: in their first six matches ever in the tournament.
