Italian Soccer Serie A supports Italy U-21 in the European Championship

Italy Head Coach of the Under-21 National Team Luigi Di Biagio announces his 23-man squad for the European Championship to be played in Italy for the first time from June 16 to June 30, 2019.

Tickets to sports events worldwideItaly U-21 is in Group A with Spain, Belgium, and Bosnia and Herzegovina.  As reported by the Italian Football Federation (FIGC),  Italy will kick off on Sunday 16 June at the Stadio Renato Dall’Ara in Bologna before facing Poland (Wednesday 19 June, 21:00 CEST in Bologna) and finally Belgium (Saturday 22 June at 21:00 CEST in Reggio Emilia).

Italian Soccer Serie A Blog supports the Italian Under-21 National Team

The Italian Under-21 National Team’s final match of the season will be on Tuesday 29 May against France at the Stade Léo Lagrange in Besançon with kick-off at 21:00.  Head Coach Luigi Di Biagio says it will be “A test at a high level.”

  • The two national teams last met two years ago on 2 June 2016 in Venice with France winning 1-0. The head-to-head record favours the Azzurrini however. In the past 16 matches, Italy have won seven, drawn five and lost four.

Azzurrini await Norway clash. Mancini: “Materazzi is my idol.”
