2026-27 Serie A Week 5 Live Result and Scores.

Hello, friends! Here are the results for Week 5 of the 2026-27 Serie A. Round 5 kicked off on Friday, 18, continued on Saturday, 19, and wrapped up on Sunday, 20 September 2026.   AS Roma and Inter saw their winning streak come to an end after four straight victories. Both teams drew 2-2 in their fifth-week matchup, earning a single point apiece. This result leaves three clubs tied at the top of the standings with 13 points each: Roma, Inter, and Lazio.

As of Week 5, the leading scorer is Roma’s forward Donyell Malen, who has netted 6 goals.

The Serie A leaders are Inter, Lazio, and Roma, each sitting pretty with 13 points. Cagliari is right on their heels at 12 points, just one point behind the top three. Milan is holding steady with 11 points, two points back. Juventus, Frosinone, and Como round out the pack with 10 points.

Roma and Inter concluded Serie A Week 5 with a thrilling 2-2 tie on Saturday at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium. Both squads have now seen their impressive four-game winning streaks come to an end. The two teams remain tied at the top of the standings, each boasting 13 points. Here’s what happened: Roma found themselves caught off guard by Inter at home. Manu Koné’s brilliant brace in the 6th and 37th minutes kept the Giallorossi ahead throughout the opening half. Then Argentine star Lautaro Martinez took center stage, leveling the match with goals in the 46th and 79th minutes of the second half.

A fantastic win for AC Milan as they defeated Lecce at San Siro Stadium. This impressive victory is a wonderful boost for the team’s confidence and morale. Plus, Milan celebrated the 100th anniversary of San Siro Stadium in spectacular fashion with this home triumph. For every action, there’s a reaction, and Milan’s response was absolutely convincing. They dominated Lecce with a commanding 3-0 victory, and honestly, the Rossoneri could have easily scored several more goals. The goals came from Christian Pulisic, Adrien Rabiot, and Diego Moreira.

What a thrilling win for Monza defeating Sassuolo at the U-Power Stadium. Monza clinches their first victory of the season and continues to be a tough opponent for Sassuolo, now boasting four wins in their last five Serie A matchups against Sassuolo.  With this result, Monza climbs to 4 points, and manager Juric’s job security gets a much-needed boost. Sassuolo, meanwhile, stays put at seven points as they await the outcomes of other fixtures.

The highly anticipated Fiorentina vs Napoli match concluded in a 1-1 draw at the Artemio Franchi stadium. Gilmour opened the scoring in the 23rd minute of the first half, with Jimenez equalizing in the 6th minute of the second half (his shot was deflected decisively by Marin). Fiorentina reached 4 points and currently sit in 17th place. Napoli earned 7 points and are positioned in 9th place. Vanoli’s Viola side secured another positive result following their 4-2 victory at Venezia and their 3-0 home win against Pisa in the Coppa Italia Round of 16.

Lazio put on an impressive display to beat Venezia FC 2-0 at the Stadio Pier Luigi Penzo. Their dominant second-half performance sealed the win and propelled Gennaro Gattuso’s squad to the summit of the Serie A table, level with Roma and Inter Milan on 13 points apiece.   Venezia side remains rooted to the bottom of the table with zero points and zero wins so far this season.  It was a memorable occasion for Manuel Lazzari, who marked his 250th appearance in a Lazio shirt.   The match was decided by second-half goals from Mattia Zaccagni in the 51st minute from the spot and Noslin in the 60th minute. Gennaro Gattuso’s Lazio side had never started a league campaign this strongly.

Cagliari pulled off an impressive victory at the Bluenergy Stadium. The Sardinian side now sits at 12 points with four wins in five matches and just two goals conceded under Pisacane’s management. They showcased a disciplined defensive display today, combining solid backline organization with dangerous counterattacking opportunities. Unfortunately, it’s disappointing news for Udinese. The Friuli club has now suffered three consecutive defeats despite putting in a solid performance and pressing hard throughout the second half (Caprile made several outstanding saves). The only goal of the match was scored by Daniel Maldini enough to secure the 3 points.

Juventus secured a convincing 2-0 victory over Atalanta on Sunday, September 20, 2026, at the Allianz Stadium during matchday 5. The Bianconeri bounced back with a smile in the league following their draw with Milan and loss to Sassuolo. Goals from Francisco Conceiçao and Bremer gave Spalletti the chance to enjoy the international break with peace of mind and continue building his team’s identity.  Juventus matched Como’s 10-point tally, though Fabregas’s side fell to Frosinone today. Atalanta, meanwhile, remains a work in progress with just six points after five matches, showing little of Sarri’s tactical fingerprint so far.
