Genoa defender Johan Vásquez called up for Mexico for September and October 2026 games
Mexico’s National Team has revealed a 30-player roster for the FIFA matches scheduled in September and October 2026. Mexico Head Coach Rafael Márquez launches a new era heading toward the 2030 World Cup. Márquez is a former Hellas Verona player (2014-15).
Johan Vásquez, the captain and defensive player for Genoa, received a call-up to represent Mexico in their upcoming matches against Colombia, Peru, the United States, and Chile scheduled for September and October 2026. The Mexican national team is being led by Head Coach Rafael Marquez, who previously played for Hellas Verona during the 2014-15 season.
Santiago Giménez, who previously played for AC Milan, is now competing with FC Porto in Portugal.
