🟡🔴 Lecce 1 – 2 Cagliari 🔴🔵

Cagliari triumphed at the Via del Mare Stadium in Lecce achieving their second win in a row, following their success against Parma.  Cagliari reached seven points, tied with Cremonese and Udinese, who are set to play this weekend. In contrast, Lecce experienced their third consecutive defeat, once again delaying their first positive result at home and remaining at the bottom of the table with just one point. A standout moment in the match was Andrea Belotti netting his first goal for his new club, Cagliari. Additionally, Belotti successfully converted a penalty. He won over his new supporters and established himself as a key player.

🟡🔵 Hellas Verona 1 – 1 Juventus ⚪️⚫️

Hellas Verona and Juventus ended with a draw at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium. Juventus faced challenges against Hellas Verona and could not secure a win. Fatigue was evident in Tudor’s squad, who, following their Champions League triumph over Inter and a draw with Borussia Dortmund, were unable to earn three crucial points in their third match of the week, which hindered their performance in Serie A’s fourth matchday. Hellas Verona, energized by their passionate supporters, delivered an impressive display characterized by determination and the finishing skills of Gift Orban and Giovane. Goals from Francisco Conceição in the 19th minute and Orban’s penalty in the 44th minute of the first half determined the outcome of the match. The second half saw significant controversy, as VAR ruled out Serdar’s potential 2-1 lead for offside, yet did not penalize Orban’s elbow on Gatti.

🔴🔵 Bologna 2 – 1 Genoa  🔴🔵

Bologna triumphed over Genoa in injury time with a score of 2-1 at the Dall’Ara Stadium. The action unfolded in the second half, where Santiago Castro equalized after Mikael Egill Ellertsson had initially scored. However, Riccardo Orsolini clinched the victory by converting a penalty awarded in the 99th minute due to a handball by Valentin Carboni. This marks Genoa’s second defeat of the season, while Bologna continues their home winning streak: following their victory against Como, they have now also defeated Genoa at the Dall’Ara.  The pivotal moment occurred deep into injury time: the ball struck Carboni’s arm, who had instinctively played it wide for Ekuban’s header. After a lengthy VAR review that frustrated Vieira, the referee awarded a penalty. Genoa coach Vieira was subsequently sent off. Orsolini took the penalty, deceiving Leali and securing three points for Bologna.

⚫️🔵 Inter 2 – 1 Sassuolo ⚫️🟢

Inter triumphed over Sassuolo at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in Milan. Inter secured a 2-1 victory against Fabio Grosso’s Sassuolo. The Nerazzurri, buoyed by their recent Champions League win over Ajax, got back to winning form in the league with goals from Federico Dimarco and an own goal by Muharemovic after a shot from Carlos Augusto, following previous losses to Udinese and Juventus. Despite a strong showing and a late goal from Walid Cheddira, the Emilian team couldn’t hold on after leading 1-0 against Lazio. Inter now has 6 points, while Sassuolo remains at 3.

⚪️⚫️ Udinese 0 – 3 AC Milan 🔴⚫️

AC Milan crushed Udinese at the Bluenergy Stadium. After their initial loss to Cremonese, Milan displayed no signs of slowing down, achieving their third straight win against Udinese, following victories over Lecce and Bologna. Christian Pulisic played a pivotal role, celebrating his twenty-seventh birthday.  This is significant for USA soccer as well.  Pulisic scored two goals and provided one assist. Luka Modrić put on another outstanding display, receiving a warm round of applause from the Friulian fans. Allegri experienced double delight, as even though he was in the stands, he also celebrated another clean sheet.

⚪️🔵  Lazio 0 – 1 AS Roma  🟡🔴

AS Roma won the Derby della Capitale, defeating Lazio at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium. Roma secured victory with a goal from Lorenzo Pellegrini in the 38th minute: the former captain (not due to the Curva Sud, which honored him with a banner), the legendary player who seemed poised to leave during August and September, eagerly awaiting his debut in January.

🐂  Torino 0 – 3 Atalanta  ⚫️🔵

What a gloomy day for Torino! Atalanta embarrassed Torino at the Olimpico in Turin with a score of 0-3. Atalanta now has 8 points, while Torino’s standing remains the same. After a fairly even beginning to the game, Atalanta seized control, with Nikola Krstović netting the first goal in the 30th minute. The Bergamo team then built on their momentum, scoring two additional goals from Sulemana and Krstović, which seemed to rattle Torino significantly. In the second half, Torino displayed a noticeably more aggressive approach, but despite a few individual attempts from Simeone, the Granata squad could not score. Baroni and Juric’s teams will be facing off against Parma and Juventus, respectively, next season.

⚜️  Fiorentina 1 – 2 Como ⚪️🔵

Como turned the match around late in the game, winning 2-1 at the Franchi stadium. This marked a second home loss for Stefano Pioli’s squad. The Viola’s solid performance in the first half remained unchanged, as they took the lead just six minutes in with a brilliant goal from the edge of the area by Mandragora. Fiorentina generated numerous chances in the first half, putting Fabregas’s team under significant pressure. However, Como nearly had a golden chance to level the score late in the first half: the referee awarded a penalty after a collision in the box between Nicolussi Caviglia and Perrone. Yet, a VAR review overturned the referee’s call, and the penalty was canceled.   Como equalized in the 65th minute with a header from Kempf. In the end, both teams appeared capable of winning, but Como utilized the available space more effectively. Nico Paz delivered a long pass to Addai, who scored a stunning goal, clinching three crucial points for Fabregas’s side.

🔵 Napoli 3 – 2 Pisa

🔴🔵 Cagliari 2 – 0 Parma 🟡🔵

Cagliari found their winning form at home again. Pisacane’s squad overcame Parma with a score of 2-0, thanks to goals from Yerry Mina and Mattia Felici. This marked Cagliari’s first victory of the season against Parma, following a draw with Fiorentina and a loss to Napoli. With this win, Fabio Pisacane’s team climbed to four points in the standings, trailing only three teams that have a perfect record after the first three matchdays of Serie A. Unfortunately for Parma, they remain stuck on just one point, suffering their second defeat in as many away games this season, after losing to Juventus in the opening match and drawing with Atalanta before the break.

👉 ⚪️⚫️ Juventus 4 – 3 Inter ⚫️🔵

The Derby d’Italia was truly a nail-biter. Juventus triumphed over Inter at the Allianz Stadium. The 4-3 victory for Juventus was not only thrilling but also a bit unexpected. Juve adds another win to their record, raising their points to 9, while Inter suffers their second consecutive loss, stuck at just 3 points! In short, the match had it all, highlighting the talent of Kenan Yildiz and the crucial skills of Hakan Çalhanoglu. A standout moment featured the Thuram brothers, with Marcus scoring for Inter and Khephren netting one for Juventus, all while their father beamed with pride from the stands as his sons made significant contributions to their teams. The cherry on top was the winning goal scored in the 91st minute. Adzic struck a brilliant winner, assisted by Jonathan David.

⚜️ Fiorentina 1 – 3 Napoli 🔵

Mission accomplished! Napoli triumphed over Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi Stadium. It’s a total disaster for Fiorentina, suffering a loss in their home match. Meanwhile, Napoli is rejoicing in their victory with a score of three goals to one against Fiorentina. With 9 points in total, Napoli sits at the top with a positive goal difference of +5. Fiorentina has fallen to 13th place, managing only 2 points and a negative goal difference of -2. This serves as a wake-up call for Fiorentina. It’s a disappointing return for Stefano Pioli, who finds himself back on the bench at this stadium after 2,351 days: the last time he was here was against Frosinone over six years ago.

🟡🔴 AS Roma 0 – 1 Torino 🐂

Roma faced a tough defeat against Torino at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium. Gian Piero Gasperini’s Roma experienced their first home league loss to Baroni’s Torino.  In a surprising turn of events, Torino secured this crucial away win. Torino now has 4 points, while Roma stays at 6. The reality is that the Giallorossi encountered a major setback just before next Sunday.  The standout moment was Giovanni Simeone’s brilliant goal in the 59th minute, a curling left-footed shot that went past Svilar, which turned out to be the game-winner.

⚫️🔵 Atalanta 4 – 1 Lecce 🟡🔴

Atalanta dominated Lecce with a score of 4-1 at the Gewiss Stadium. This victory allows Atalanta to rise to provisional sixth place with five points. Unfortunately for Lecce, they remain in the relegation zone with only one point from three matches. Ouch!   Charles De Ketelaere shone between the lines, netting two goals, while Zalewski also had an impressive game, scoring and providing an assist. Krstovic was a constant threat to the opposing defense, even without scoring. Lecce was largely absent in the second half, aside from N’Dri’s stunning late goal, which served as a consolation. This goal was significant for Lecce, who had yet to find the net this season.  This win gives Atalanta a boost ahead of their challenging Champions League match coming up. They will take on the reigning European champions, PSG, on Wednesday the 17th at the Parc des Princes.

⚫️🟢 Sassuolo 1 – 0 Lazio ⚪️🔵

Sassuolo beat Lazio at the Mapei Stadium in Reggio Emilia. This win serves as a significant boost for Sassuolo, marking their first victory of the season. Previously, Sassuolo found themselves at the bottom of the standings after suffering two straight losses (2-0 at home to Napoli and 3-2 away to Cremonese). Ultimately, Sassuolo secured a narrow victory over Lazio, who, after losing their opening match in Como (2-0), had previously won at the Olimpico against Verona (4-0): Fadera (71′) was the one who clinched the match. The outlook is grim for Lazio.

⚫️🔵  Pisa 0 – 1 Udinese  ⚪️⚫️

Udinese triumphed over Pisa, climbing to third place while awaiting the outcome of Cremonese’s match. Next week, the Friulians will welcome Max Allegri’s AC Milan. Despite a solid performance today, Pisa remains stuck on one point. Udinese achieved a close win, taking the Arena Garibaldi in Pisa. Iker Bravo netted the decisive goal in the 14th minute. In their upcoming league match, the Nerazzurri will travel to face the current Italian champions at the Stadio Maradona.

🔴⚫️ Milan 1 – 0 Bologna 🔴🔵

AC Milan took the lead in the 61st minute with a remarkable and special goal. Why is it so special? How about we celebrate a belated birthday? Well, your wish has come true! Luka Modric celebrates his 40th birthday by scoring a goal in the 61st minute against Bologna. Modric found the back of the net with a right-footed shot into the bottom left corner, assisted by Alexis Saelemaekers. This goal marks Modric’s first for AC Milan and is historic in its own way. He becomes the fifth player to score at the age of forty, joining the legendary Piola, Vierchowood, Costacurta, and Ibrahimovic!

🟡🔵 Hellas Verona 0 – 0 Cremonese 🩶❤️

Hellas Verona and Cremonese ended with a goalless draw at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium in Verona, Italy. Cremonese boasts a flawless record after two league matches, while Verona aims to recover from a significant loss they experienced at the Olimpico in Rome against Lazio.

⚪️🔵Como 1 – 1 Genoa  🔴🔵

Como experienced their first draw of the season, earning points after their loss at Bologna, but they couldn’t achieve a second straight home victory, bringing their total to four points, equal with Cagliari and Torino. Genoa recorded their second draw in three matches, tying with Fiorentina and Verona at two points, and notably, they scored their first goal of the season.
