Fiorentina triumphed over Cremonese on Sunday, January 4, 2026, at the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence, Italy. The three valuable points brought their total to 12, keeping them in 18th place. Fiorentina is facing a tough challenge as they fight for survival. Cremonese suffered defeat at the Franchi stadium, with the loss coming only in added time. It was a challenging match for Nicola's squad, who only managed to threaten their opponents once towards the end of the game. The Grigiorossi have only earned one point in their last four matches and will be hosting Cagliari in the upcoming round. Fiorentina exited the field to cheers from the Franchi crowd, who appeared to have reestablished their connection with the players.   Fiorentina looked more cohesive with their four defenders and deserved the win, despite facing challenges in scoring. With twelve points, the Viola now match Pisa and Verona, and they will take on Lazio at the Olimpico stadium in the next round. Moise Kean netted the decisive goal for the Viola team in the 92nd minute. After a strong first half, Vanoli's team continued to push for an advantage in the second half, but Cremonese looked more organized and solid, even though they hardly managed a shot on goal for at least eighty minutes. Vanoli concluded with a 4-2-4 formation, and in the 92nd minute, Kean found the winning goal: Solomon sent a cross to the far post for Fortini, whose header was saved by Audero, but Kean was quick to react to the rebound and scored the goal that clinched the Viola's second league victory.
