Napoli triumphs at the Olimpico Stadium, defeating Lazio in Serie A Week 18 on Sunday, January 4, 2026, in Rome, Italy. Conte's squad secured the win in the first half with goals from Spinazzola and Rrahmani. These three vital points keep Napoli in the race for first place with 37 points, responding to Milan's challenge. Lazio struggled to make an impact in the second half, despite having more possession, as they failed to create many threatening opportunities, with the exception of a shot from Guendouzi that struck the crossbar in the closing minutes. The second half was marked more by tension than by quality play. Initially, Noslin was shown a red card after receiving a second yellow for a foul on McTominay, having already been cautioned for a confrontation with Hojlund. Just before the added time, Marusic and Mazzocchi were also dismissed. A harsh tackle between the two ignited a significant brawl that involved the benches, with Conte being the first to step in and try to break up the altercation. ⚪️🔵 Lazio 0 - 1 Napoli 🔵 ⚽️ Leonardo Spinazzola scored with a right-footed shot that found the bottom left corner, overcoming Lazio's goalkeeper Ivan Provedel. The assist came from Matteo Politano. Di Lorenzo intercepted Zaccagni in the attacking midfield zone, allowing the ball to reach Politano, who then delivered a cross to the far post. Spinazzola, who was unmarked, finished with his right foot, beating Provedel.
