Hello my friends. Here are the Serie A RESULTS for Week 30 on Saturday 11 and Sunday 12 April 2015. There are two unexpected results. Get this one, guys, Parma who are in the last position of the Serie A table defeated Juventus who are in the first position! Yep, you are reading right, it’s no joke, it actually happened. The classical David defeating Goliath….
Here is the other turning point! AS Roma losing the 2nd position after their 1-1 draw with Torino. Say what? Yep, this is totally true. Lazio defeated Empoli with a 4 -0 and reached 58 points while Roma remained with 57 points. LAZIO ARE NOW IN THE SECOND POSITION and the upcoming Derby Lazio _ Roma will be a total battle.
Parma gaining momentum and a boost to the morale after the prestigious victory at the Ennio Tardini Stadium winning with a 1-0 with the goal by Jose Mauri. However, let’s not panic. Juventus have lost only 2 games this season and still remain as sole leaders of the Serie A and most likely will win the Scudetto. Juventus having 70 points with a wide gap advantage of +14 over AS Roma in the second position.
What went wrong with Juventus? Maybe too much confidence and the turnover not working. Coach Massimiliano Allegri did not use key star forward Carlos Tevez.. The reasoning? Maybe giving him resting time for the Champions League match against AS Monaco this Tuesday…. To be fair, Parma deserved the victory, they never backed down.
A positive result is for Inter who defeated Hellas Verona at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium with a 0-3. A Tango victory as both Argentinian forwards took care of business not only by scoring the 2 goals, but also by providing the assist to each other. The third goal was a night mare for Verona because it was an own goal by defender Vangelis Moras.
Genoa winning the home game against Cagliari with a 2-0. Cagliari still struggling for salvation and remain in the relegation zone, the 19th position.
I am so happy to see Chievo Verona forward Sergio Pellissier celebrating his birthday today by scoring the winner goal against Cesena. Chievo reaching 35 points and are closer for salvation while Cesena remaining in the relegation zone.
Palermo causing an upset at the Friuli Stadium by defeating Udinese with a 1-3. Udinese fans not happy with the performance and contesting the team during the game with boos, whistles. It was a a well deserved victory for Palermo. No doubt about it.
The top scorer up to Round 30: Juventus forward Carlos Tevez with 17 goals.
