Inter increasing the sprint race to catch up AC Milan the leader.  Inter win the Serie A Week 12 game defeating Napoli on Wednesday 16 December 2020 at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium in Milan, Italy.   Inter reaches 27 points being only -1 point below AC Milan with 28 points.  Napoli stepped down from the 3rd to the 4th position remaining with 23 points.

The game went all wrong for Napoli starting from the 16th minute when forward Dries Mertens went off injured.  Making matters worst, Napoli remained with 10 players since the 72nd minute when forward Lorenzo Insigne got a red card.
