Mission accomplished for AC Milan winning their 4th consecutive ame. Catania failing their battle for salvation. Not a good debut of Catania coach Maurizio Pellegrino who replaced sacked coach Rolando Maran. This home victory giving Milan hope to climb the Serie A Table from the 11th to the 8th position towards the European Zone being now at -3 points from the 6th position hold by Parma with 51 points. Catania, mathematically speaking, still have chances for salvation, but what we have seen this season the future seems in relegation.
AC Milan starting the party in San Siro to the delight of the fans in the 23rd minute. It is an assist by forward Mario Balotelli to midfielder Riccardo Montolivo. Yep, Montolivo defeating Catania goalkeeper Mariano Andujar with a right footed shot in the bottom left corner.
