🔴⚫️ AC Milan has secured two consecutive victories! Following their win over Manchester City at the Yankee Stadium, AC Milan also emerged victorious against Real Madrid at the Soldier Field in Chicago on Wednesday 31 July 2024.   The result is AC Milan 1 – 0 Real Madrid. AC Milan’s second triumph on their DIRECTV Soccer Champions Tour was thanks to an outstanding performance by Samuel Chukwueze, who scored the only goal of the game early in the second half and continued to impress during the pre-season.

Certainly, the win against Real Madrid, the reigning European champions, was a testament to the hard work put in by Fonseca’s team.  Moreover, AC Milan improved throughout the 90 minutes and created numerous opportunities while also displaying a solid defensive performance.  In conclusion, ball possession was AC Milan 48.5% and Real Madrid 51.5%.

Overall, it was a promising display from the Rossoneri, especially considering that both teams were missing several players. Ancelotti’s Los Blancos will kick off their season before AC Milan – the UEFA Super Cup awaits Real Madrid in two weeks – but it was the Diavolo who made a stronger impression, particularly in terms of fitness. The result will undoubtedly boost the players’ confidence and morale.  Afterall, it was a positive result AC Milan 1 – 0 Real Madrid.

The Rossoneri will resume training on Friday 2 August – with a double session ahead of their final match of the US Tour, where they will face Barcelona in Baltimore.
