Italian Soccer Serie A
Bad news for those expecting the Italian Serie A group training on Monday 18 May 2020, as it was predicted. Simply put, still no group training. The Italian Football Federation (FIGC) delivered the updated protocol to Italian Sports Minister Vincenzo Spadafora. For the moment, individual training will continue following the forced stop after the Coronavirus COVID-19 outbreak. Italian teams returned to individual training on Monday 4 May with all safety precautions.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the Serie A Clubs consider the initial protocol too strict and considered almost impossible to meet, prompting the request of modifications of the protocol.
