#askBrehme, send us your questions for Andy!

MILAN – We should start by saying that this is a player who should need no introductions. A footballer from what perhaps seems like a bygone era now – not for his age, but simply because the game has changed so much since then.

A player than most young fans will only have seen on videos or heard about from somebody who was there to enjoy watching him at the time. Him and the rest of that record-breaking Inter side. Then as now, the games, goals and special moments are handed down from father to son.

We’re sure that all Interisti cheered for Germany (actually West Germany, it really was a different era) in that World Cup final played in Rome, when he stepped up to take the most important penalty in his country’s history.

We’re talking of course about Andy Brehme: 154 appearances for Inter and forever a black and blue, a member of the team that won the UEFA Cup, Italian Super Cup and that unforgettable record-breaking Scudetto.

Andy will be back in Milan on Monday 24 February to answer questions sent in by the fans on Twitter using the hashtag #askBrehme. The best questions will be picked out and Andy will tweet his answers through the club’s official account @inter.

This is an unmissable opportunity for you to interact with a Nerazzurri legend who helped write a key chapter in the club’s history. So what are you waiting for? Start tweeting your questions!
