Fiorentina won the Serie A Week 12 game on Sunday 12 November 2023 at the Artemio Franchi Stadium in Florence, Italy. Fiorentina returned to victory after three defeats and joined Atalanta in fifth place on 20 points, Bologna, after a long positive series, found defeat again and remained stuck on 18.

Fiorentina won a very hard-fought match full of reversals. The home team took the lead thanks to a surgical conclusion from Giacomo Bonaventura, the Emilians equalized with Zirkzee on a penalty. In the second half, it’s another penalty spot kick that restored the distance, with Gonzalez displacing Skorupski and giving Fiorentina the three points.

Fiorentina opened the score in the 17th minute. Giacomo Bonaventura defeated Bologna goalkeeper with a right-footed shot to the top right corner. The assist is by M’Bala Nzola.

Bologna equalized in the 33rd minute.


✅ Stats before the game: Bologna won both matches last season against Fiorentina (both with a score of 2-1), after a series of 16 matches in which Viola had never lost to the Emilians; only once in history have the rossoblù defeated the Tuscans three games in a row in Serie A (between 1965 and 1966).
Bologna won in the last away match at the Franchi in the championship against Fiorentina (2-1 on 5 February 2023), scoring two goals: in the previous 10 away matches against the Tuscan team they had only scored one goal and suffered eight defeats (2N ). Empoli won the Serie A Week 12 game on Sunday 12 November at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium in Napoli, Italy. A terrible home defeat for Napoli while Empoli conquered the Maradona in the last minutes with this prestigious victory. Surely, it is a great result for Empoli thanks to Kovalenko’s Eurogoal in the 91st minute. Juventus with a sprint race to keep up the race with Inter won the Serie A Week 12 game Saturday 11 November 2023 at the Allianz Stadium in Turin, Italy. Juventus with five consecutive victories after the 0-0 draw against Atalanta. In the next round, Juventus will play against Inter in the Derby d’Italia. Cagliari currently remained in fourth-to-last place with 9 points.

It all happened in the second half and the goals all come from the defenders. The first goal arrived in the 60th minute with Kostic who crossed a free kick towards the far post where Bremer broke away very well and put it into the net towards the left post. The second goal came in the 70th minute with Kostic who this time crossed it to the center from a corner and Rugani first hit the crossbar, then put it into the net with his chest. In the 75th minute, Dossena’s goal arrives, again from a corner assisted by Jankto, who heads the ball into the net at the far post without giving Szczesny a chance.  Dossena scored his first goal with Cagliari.

Juventus opened the score in the 60th minute. Gleison Bremer defeated Cagliari goalkeeper with a headed shot to the bottom left corner. The assist is by Filip Kostic.

Juventus with another goal in the 69th minute. Daniele Rugani scored from very close range to the bottom left corner following a corner conceded by Simone Scuffet.

Cagliari shortened the distance in the 74th minute. Alberto Dossena defeated Juventus goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny with a headed shot to the top right corner. The assist is by Jakub Jankto following a corner conceded by Bremer.

Milan cannot afford to lose more points if they want to battle for the Scudetto. Lecce and Milan ended the Serie A Week 12 game with a draw on Saturday 11 November 2023 at the Via del Mare Stadium in Lecce, Italy. The winless streak continues for both teams but, given how the match was going, today’s result should be considered very positive for Lecce who are once again moving up their rankings, rising to 14. However, extremely negative feelings for Milan was unable to manage the double advantage obtained in the first half and almost lost the game.

This time it is the Giallorossi who overtake the Rossoneri after the first half ended by two goals. Sansone closed the gap in the 66th minute with his left foot under the crossbar from a few steps away, with Milan conceding a goal very similar to the one conceded against PSG, and Banda completed the comeback by chilling Maignan with a left-footed shot from inside the area. Milan runs out of fuel and risks being mocked twice, first with Sansone’s header on the post, then with Piccoli’s goal, which was however annulled after the intervention of the VAR which highlighted a foul by the former Empoli player on Thiaw, shortly after the red card received by Giroud for protests.

AC Milan opened the score in the 28th minute. It is French forward Olivier Giroud to defeat Lecce goalkeeper Wladimiro Falcone from very close range to the center. The assist is by Théo Hernández. Great way to celebrate his 100th appearance with Milan.

Milan having a ride at the Via del Mare and there is another goal in the 36th minute. It is Tijjani Reijnders who scored with a right-footed shot to the bottom right corner. The assist is by Samuel Chukwueze.

Lecce shortened the distance in the 67th minute. Nicola Sansone defeated AC Milan goalkeeper Mike Maignan left-footed shot from very close range to the top left corner. The assist is by Alexis Blin following a corner conceded by Théo Hernández.
