AC Milan took the lead in the 45+2′ minute just before ending the first half. Referee Marco Di Bello gave a penalty to Milan conceded by Fabio Parisi. It is forward Théo Hernández to convert the penalty defeating Fiorentina goalkeeper Pietro Terracciano with a left-footed shot to the bottom left corner.
