Napoli secured a 3-0 victory over Fiorentina, marking their fourth straight win in the league. This triumph propelled Napoli back to the top of the standings. Neres opened the scoring with a brilliant individual effort in the 29th minute. Romelu Lukaku then extended the lead by converting a penalty in the 54th minute. McTominay capped off the scoring with a hat-trick goal in the 68th minute. Goalkeeper Meret made a crucial save to keep Fiorentina from scoring in the 61st minute. In the upcoming league match, Fiorentina will travel to face Monza, while Napoli will host Verona.

The Derby della Capitale has once again seen AS Roma take the upper hand, claiming the bragging rights in Rome!   Roma secured a victory over Lazio at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium. This win marked a significant turnaround for Roma, who had been struggling with three matches without a win or a goal (1 draw, 2 losses) prior to this match. In addition, the Giallorossi have impressively kept a clean sheet in their last two encounters with the Biancocelesti in this league. This achievement also marks the first time since 1967 that they have recorded three consecutive clean sheets against Lazio. The action unfolded in the first half, with Roma taking the lead thanks to goals from Captain Lorenzo Pellegrini and Saelemakers, followed by a second half focused on defense. Meanwhile, Lazio struggled to find their footing and couldn’t mount a comeback.

Hellas Verona and Udinese ended in a goalless stalemate at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium. This was Verona’s first draw of the season, having previously experienced only wins or losses. The first half lacked excitement, but the second half brought more intensity as both teams challenged the goalkeepers, Sava and Montipò. The match took a turn when Serdar was shown a second yellow card, leaving Hellas at a disadvantage. Nevertheless, they held on to earn an important point.

The match between Venezia and Empoli ended in a 1-1 draw. Empoli’s standings remain the same, but they do gain a point, bringing their total to twenty and putting them level with Roma and Torino. Venezia, on the other hand, climbs to third from the bottom, now tied with Cagliari at 14 points. The first half was thrilling, with Venezia scoring first at the 5-minute mark through a stunning goal by Pohjanpalo, following a slip-up by Vasquez. Empoli responded with an equalizer from Esposito in the 32nd minute, assisted by Colombo. The second half saw both teams play more conservatively, likely due to the high energy of the first half. Although both sides fought hard for the win, they struggled to create significant chances, except for a brilliant save by Stankovic, who was a key player in the match. Next up, Venezia will face Inter at Penzo, while Empoli will take on Lecce at home.

Monza and Cagliari are both striving to secure their place in the league. Unfortunately for Monza, they faced a tough loss at the U-Power Stadium. Although Caprari initially put Monza ahead with a penalty, they ultimately fell to goals from Zortea and Piccoli, who turned the game around. Torino and Parma ended with a draw at the Olimpico di Torino Stadium. Torino and Parma each earn a point, bringing Torino’s total to 21 points and allowing Parma to level with Verona at 19 points. As it stands, Lecce finds itself in a precarious position, sitting third from the bottom with 17 points, while Genoa has a slightly better standing with 20 points. Lecce is inching closer to the relegation zone.

Roma struck first in the 10th minute with a fantastic goal from Lorenzo Pellegrini! The Giallorossi are in the lead after Pellegrini delivered a stunning shot. The number 7 skillfully gathered the ball at the edge of the box and curled it beautifully past the helpless goalkeeper, Ivan Provedel.

What a whirlwind for Lazio! The Roman gladiators struck again in the 18th minute with a goal from Alexis Saelemakers! It was an incredible play by Roma, featuring Dovbyk and Dybala near the box. Dybala set up Saelemakers, who charged in and took a shot with his right foot. Provedel made the initial save, but the Belgian was quick to pounce on the rebound and found the back of the net, extending their lead. Ouch! Roma fans are definitely celebrating!
