Juventus fans were left stunned at the Allianz Stadium as Empoli struck first in the 4th minute. Mattia De Sciglio found the net with a close-range header after a corner kick taken by Nicolás González. Later, another corner from Henderson saw Yildiz get a slight touch, allowing De Sciglio to score again by heading the ball through the legs of goalkeeper Michele Di Gregorio.

The battle for the Scudetto is heating up! Atalanta, currently sitting in 3rd place with 47 points. In a thrilling encounter, Udinese secured a victory in the Serie A Week 23 clash against Venezia on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the Bluenergy Stadium in Udine, Italy. What a dramatic shift! Venezia brought the score to 2-2 in the 78th minute. Christian Gytkjær scored for @VeneziaFC_EN with a left-footed shot from close range right into the center. Fali Candé provided the assist after a corner that Jaka Bijol allowed. Candé sent a cross from the right wing, cleverly flicking the ball backward at the near post, which set up Gytkjær for the easy tap-in. The closing minutes of the match were a delight for the supporters in Friuli, as Venezia secured the equalizer.

Udinese regained the lead in the 84th minute when substitute Iker Bravo found the net with a right-footed shot into the bottom right corner. Oumar Solet provided the assist. The second half finally saw the game come alive, thanks to a brilliant individual effort from Solet, who maneuvered past two defenders in the opponent’s box, glanced up, and set up Bravo. With a gentle touch from the outside of his foot, Bravo expertly placed the ball into the far corner.

Udinese has the chance to become just the third team that Venezia has managed to defeat in both Serie A encounters this season since the end of World War II, following Bologna in 2021/22 and Cagliari in 1998/99. In a surprising turn of events, Hellas Verona triumphed over Monza with a 1-0 win in Serie A Week 23 on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at the U-Power Stadium in Monza, Italy. This victory allows Verona to move up in the tightly packed standings, while Monza finds itself in a challenging predicament following this defeat.

The situation is becoming increasingly dire for the Brianza team. The only goal of the match came from an unfortunate own goal in the first half, which secured the three points for Verona. After a first half that lacked excitement, the yellow and blues had numerous opportunities to increase their lead in the second half, but Zanetti’s team couldn’t capitalize on them. Monza’s final push proved fruitless, and the match ended with a score of 1-0 in favor of Hellas.

Stats proving that Monza haven’t managed to achieve back-to-back home wins in the league since November 2022, with their last consecutive win coming against Hellas Verona. On the other hand, Hellas Verona has drawn two of their last four league matches, losing the other two, including their latest game against Venezia, which ended in a 1-1 draw at Penzo. This is the same number of draws they had in their previous 26 top-flight games, where they recorded 9 wins, 2 draws, and 15 losses. The Gialloblù haven’t had two consecutive draws in Serie A since February 2024, with their first draw in that sequence also being against Monza.

Monza had a rough beginning as Hellas Verona scored first in the 11th minute. It was an own goal by Stefan Lekovic! Trying to get ahead of his rival, he accidentally sent the ball into his own net, leaving goalkeeper Stefano Turati with no chance.
