Hello, my friends. Here are the 2018-2019 Serie A Week 27 / Twenty-seventh Round on Friday 8, Saturday 9, Sunday 10, and Monday 11 March 2019.

Here is the current situation. Juventus continue their dominion unbeaten and every time closer to grab the Scudetto.  Juventus defeated Udinese at the Allianz Stadium with a poker 4-1.   Juventus reaching  75 points and a positive goal difference of +42.  Juventus have not lost a game this season having 24 wins ad 3 draws.  Udinese remaining with 25 points and a negative goal difference of -14.  The challenge for Juventus is to focus in the Champions League and prepare the match against Atletico Madrid for the Second Leg at the Allianz Stadium on Tuesday 12 March.

AC Milan living a dream believing in the Champions League dream for next year.   AC Milan defeated 1-2 Chievo Verona at the Marc’Antonio Bentegodi Stadium.  It’s a sour home defeat for Chievo because they remain in the 20th position and chances for salvation disappearing.

Napoli stepping back…. Oh yeah, not  a good day for Napoli on their almost impossible dream to win the Scudetto considering Juventus is on a solo flight not losing a single game.  Sassuolo shocked Napoli by leading with a 1-0 at the Mapei Stadium.  Napoli finally reacted to draw the game for a 1-1 gaining just 1 point each.

The race for the 3rd position is not over.  Inter getting back to the winning path defeating SPAL with a 2-0 at the Giuseppe Meazza Stadium.  Inter pressing to recover the third position reaching 50 points while AC Milan is holding tight with 51 points.  We might see a change next week ….. who knows?

Good news for AS Roma returning to the winning path.   New Coach Claudio Ranieri made his debut with a victory.  Roma defeated Empoli at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium with a 2-1.  Roma reaching 47 points being -4 points below AC Milan in the 3rd position.

Parma gaining momentum after defeating Genoa at the Ennio Tardini Stadium with a 1-0.   Parma reaching 33 points while Genoa remain with 30 points.

Hello, my friends. Here are the 2018-2019 Serie A Week 26 Results / Twenty-sixth Round on Friday 1, Saturday 2, and Sunday 3 March 2019.

Here is the current situation. Juventus  is the absolute leader of the Serie A and the Scudetto seems closer.   The awaited duel between Napoli and Juventus at the San Paolo Stadium ended Napoli 1 – 2 Juventus.  This victory means that Juventus with 72 points is having a wide lead of +16 points ahead of Napoli in the second position with 56 points!!  Are you kidding me, hello!!!  We might say the Scudetto will be again for Juventus, unless, a miracle happens.   Juventus have not lost a game this season having 23 wins ad 3 draws.

We have a turnover in the third position!  Yep, Inter not only lost the match against Cagliari at the Sardegna Arena with a 2-1, but also lost the third position!  Oh my gosh…. well, well, well… guess who jumped to the third position?  You got it, AC Milan climbed from the fourth to the third position after defeating Sassuolo at the San Siro Stadium.   However, nothing is defined.  Everything can change next week because the gap is not wide.  AC Milan having 48 points, Inter 47 points, and AS Roma 44 points.

The Derby della Capitale was won by Lazio claiming the full bragging rights to rule at the Olimpico di Roma Stadium.  Lazio crushed AS Roma with a 3-0!  Lazio reaching 41 points while AS Roma remaining with 44 points still in the 5th position.

What a wonderful game for AC Milan! The victory against Sassuolo gives AC Milan a reason to party because not only they won the game, but also they jumped to the 3rd position overtaking Inter. AC Milan defeated Sassuolo winning the Serie A Week 26 game on Saturday 2 March 2019 at the San Siro Stadium in Milan, Italy.  AC Milan reaching 48 points and Inter with 47 points.

Ironically, Sassuolo giving an involuntary helping hand to AC Milan. Yes, my friends, AC Milan opened the score in the 31st minute with an own goal by Sassuolo. Ouch. Making matters worst, Referee sent off Sassuolo goalkeeper Andrea Consigli in the 63rd minute getting a red card after a foul resulting in Krzysztof Piatek’s free kick.  Sassuolo played with 10 players for the rest of the game, surprisingly, there were no more goals.

Here is AC MILAN official starting lineup – formation by Coach Gennaro Gattuso:

AC MILAN (4-3-3): Donnarumma; Calabria, Musacchio, Romagnoli, Rodriguez; Kessié, Bakayoko, Paquetà; Suso, Calhanoglu, Piatek.

Hello, my friends. Here are the 2018-2019 Serie A Week 25 Results / Twenty-fifth Round on Friday 22, Saturday 23, Sunday 24, and Monday 25 February 2019

Here is the current situation. Juventus continues their solo flight as the absolute leader of the Serie A reaching 69 points.  Juventus defeated Bologna with a 0-1 at the Renato Dall’Ara Stadium.   Simply put, my friends, Juventus seeing their dominion without a real challenger.  What? Hum?  Really?  Yep!   Imagine, it will take a miracle to see Napoli catching up unless Juventus start losing games which is not an easy task.  Juventus have not lost a game this season.  Juventus having a +13 points lead ahead of Napoli with 56 points in the second position!

Serie A tickets

Bad news is for Atalanta after losing the away game against Torino with a 2-0.  This defeat affected Atalanta because they also lost the 6th position and went down to the 8th position.  Good news is for Lazio climbing to the 6th position.

A step back is also for Inter ending with a 3-3 draw against Fiorentina at the Artemio Franchi Stadium.   Inter were leading the game, but then…. Fiorentina fought back and stopped Inter.  So, what is the big deal?  Oh well, hello, hello, hello…..   Inter might lose the 3rd position in the next game in case of losing. Really?  How is that?  Well, get this one, AC Milan with 45 points is only -2 points below Inter with 47 points!.  Moreover, AS Roma is following closely with 44 points after defeating Frosinone with a 2-3.

The bad days for Bologna continue because they lost the match with Juventus.  Bologna Coach Sinisa Mihajlovic not seeing the light at the end of the tunnel.   Bologna remaining in the relegation zone along Frosinone and Chievo Verona.
